Why did Pierre Poilievre lie about being on the WEF website
and claiming to not know about UN Agenda 2030 and the SDGs which the CPC is in line with?

He voted for female selective abortion and signed or agreed with The Paris Accord.

PP is a Trojan horse to fool the Canadian sheeple and bring in Digital I.D.
    and the NWO/One World Government.

Only Maxime Bernier and the PPC stand for Canada.

Just four years after Verster was hired for $104,000,
the Ford government was paying him a salary of $851,000.
That’s a 718 per cent increase in a period of just four years!

    https://us1.campaign-archive.com/?u...CnqAHSSS8f3lJjg8l4EOGIVLZEmXHZ2oMZrSJw1iCD1tk

    Dear Supporter,

Are you getting paid eight times what you were being paid four years ago?

Premier Doug Ford’s point man at Metrolinx sure is.

While families like yours struggle to deal with decades-high inflation, Ford has been handing out raises to government bigwigs like candy.

Phil Verster is the CEO of Metrolinx, the Crown agency in charge of building new transit infrastructure in the province of Ontario.

When Verster was first hired in 2017, the Wynne government gave him a starting salary of $104,000.

But since Ford took over Queen’s Park, Verster’s salary has expanded faster than Santa’s waistline on Christmas.

Just four years after Verster was hired for $104,000, the Ford government was paying him a salary of $851,000.

That’s a 718 per cent increase in a period of just four years!

And are Ontarians seeing any results?

Metrolinx has been a disaster as the province’s transit procurement provider.

The new Ontario line being built in Toronto is already $8 billion over budget.

The Eglinton Crosstown project in Toronto is three years behind schedule.

And the cost of building a railway underpass to better connect Burlington and Oakville is coming in at three times the cost of what Metrolinx originally promised.

If you think the amount of taxpayer dollars Ford is handing to Verster is insane, you’re not alone.

Verster is just one example of a larger problem: government is spending an insane amount of your tax dollars paying provincial bureaucrat salaries that look more like NHL contracts than typical private sector paystubs.

Could you please email Ford and tell him to stop giving massive pay cheques and pay raises to underperforming bureaucrats on the taxpayer dime?

Thanks for standing up for taxpayers – it’s making a difference!

    Sincerely,

    • Jay, Shannon, Todd and the rest of the CTF team

COVID pushes Sudbury's top doctor's pay to $800,000 in 2021

However, that includes overtime of $400,000 for 2020 and 2021 paid out last year

Sudbury’s medical officer of health made $800,726 in 2021,
making her Ontario’s ninth-highest paid civil servant last year,
according to the province’s annual “sunshine list.”.

However, in a release Friday, Public Health Sudbury
and District’s said Dr. Penny Sutcliffe’s numbers are misleading.

“Dr. Sutcliffe’s salary disclosure … includes additional hours from 2020 that were not paid out until 2021,”
said René Lapierre, chair of the board of health for Public Health Sudbury and Districts.
“Of Dr. Sutcliffe’s disclosure, $219,000 is related to overtime worked in 2020,
but not paid until 2021 and a further $263,000 is related to overtime worked and paid in 2021.”

Dr. Sutcliffe was paid $347,324 in 2020.

Lapierre said COVID has played havoc with Public Health’s budget
and the lives of its staff who have led the Sudbury region’s response to COVID-19 over the past two years.

“The COVID-19 pandemic response required our Public Health team to work at unprecedented levels,”
he said. “The work demands have been relentless, at great intensity and with much stress.

Public Health staff have stepped up with unwavering commitment,
but at great personal sacrifice including costs to personal mental health and well-being.

“They cannot get their time back with their families, but the salaries earned over the pandemic are some recognition of the absolute dedication of the team, including our medical officer of health, to support the health of our communities when they needed us the most.”

In 2021, Public Health employees in Sudbury were required to work 61,559 hours of overtime (the workload equivalent of almost 34 full-time positions) “under intensely stressful and constantly changing conditions.

“Long hours, reassignments, seven-day multi-shift work weeks, cancelled vacations, and significant and longstanding overtime have stretched and tested everyone’s resilience. (Friday’s) salary disclosure reflects this workload and includes 60 Public Health employees for 2021 (who made $100,000 or more) as compared with 28 in 2020, and nine in 2019.”

    By the end of 2021,
563 staff were employed by the agency, as compared
with 217 pre-pandemic full-time, part-time, and casual, the health unit said.

Local volunteers, community agencies, and municipal partners and staff have helped ease the load, along with Public Health’s recruitment efforts to increase staffing. However, recruitment has not been possible for many essential public health professionals, it said, due to the shortage of public health professionals combined with the acute need to fill gaps across all of Ontario’s 34 local public health units.

“We have been searching to recruit an associate medical officer of health for some time now, and this position has been vacant for the duration of the pandemic,” Lapierre noted. “Our medical officer of health, Dr. Penny Sutcliffe, has been our unfaltering leader throughout this emergency, herself having worked the equivalent of well over two positions for two years.”

Public Health receives funding from municipalities in the Sudbury area and the provincial government. The Ministry of Health has been reimbursing boards of health for all COVID-19 extraordinary costs, such as staff wages and overtime, space rental supplies and equipment, communications, etc. Municipal levies have not been impacted.

Provincially, executives at Ontario Power Generation made up the top four highest-paid public employees in the province in 2021.

The disclosure of public sector workers who are paid more than $100,000 had more than 240,000 names on the list released Friday, with Kenneth Hartwick, CEO of the electricity Crown corporation, again in the top spot.

Kenneth Hartwick had a salary of $1,628,246 in 2021 and Dominique Miniere,
the company’s chief strategy officer, was the second-highest paid with a salary of more than $1.5 million.

Two other executives at the corporation reported making more than a million dollars,
in the third and fourth spot. Kevin Smith, CEO of Toronto’s University Health Network,
stayed in the fifth spot again with a salary of $845,092.

Others in the health field were also among the top 10 highest paid.
Ontario Health CEO Matthew Anderson was in seventh place with a salary of $826,000.

While Dr. Sutcliffe had the ninth-highest salary at $800,726,
the CEO of Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre, Andy Smith, was in the 10th spot with $799,614.

In total, there were 13 people employed by hospitals or public health boards
who were among the top 30 highest paid. Sutcliffe was the only local public health official
in the top 30 and the rest were high-ranking hospital executives plus one psychiatrist working in North Bay.

The province says the list of employees grew by 38,536
since 2020, with 96 per cent of the growth attributable to growth in the broader public sector.

A spokesman for Treasury Board President Prabmeet Singh Sarkaria
noted that school boards accounted for much of the increase,
and said the average reported salary decreased slightly in 2021 to $123,738 from $125,870 the year before.

Rounding out the top 10 were Phil Verster, CEO of the Metrolinx transit Crown corporation,
with a salary of $838,960 and Ontario Pension Board CEO Mark Fuller at $805,247.
Verster and Fuller were in the sixth and eighth spots, respectively.

Premier Doug Ford made $208,974 last year, similar to his salary from 2020.
Ford’s chief of staff, James Wallace, was paid $333,316.

The Public Sector Salary Disclosure Act, enacted by former Progressive Conservative
premier Mike Harris in 1996, compels organizations that receive public funding
from the province to report the names, positions and pay of people who make more than $100,000.

Taxable benefits from the previous year must also be disclosed.

Simply unbelievable. The only fitting comments are found in the words: repugnant, disgusting, reprehensible, shameful. Sutcliffe should do the honourable thing—return the OT money to the provincial treasury.

COVID pushes Sudbury's top doctor's pay to $800,000 in 2021, however, that includes overtime of $400,000 for 2020 and 2021 paid out last year but the private sector during the pandemic lose their jobs, homes, investments and end up homeless with no income. When questioned, Sudbury council were quick to make excuses that are questionable at the least. Shameful and a insult to the hard working taxpayers who's income stay the same or end up being net zero.

What about all the doctors and nurses. Did they not experience worse? They were frontline, in your face, saving lives and some tragically losing their lives and experiencing burn out like crazy. Who paid them overtime? Who compensated these frontline heroes? Did anyone see them on the Sunshine list. There is no excuse for these outrageous salaries and benefits. EDITED
