    For everyone, like me: who grew up in multi-cultural Toronto

    i KNOW from doing research into my own family lineages
    going, far back, i have more than just 'white' in my 'dna'
    on my mum's side of my family.
    In fact, i have some indigenous bloodlines
    that shows up on dna, as, "other".
    i have some yellow / or perhaps; brown that goes back to
    Mongolia, and, Genghis Khan,
    and, even black / or brown that goes back thru Italy,
    and, Italian kings of Lombardy / Sicily that go back to Africa.
    (white/black/brown/yellow/red)
    In paint, you mix yellow and red to get brown...
    so, would that be the same as people ???

    American slave owners or slaveholders were owners of slaves in the United States which typically worked either as agriculture laborers or house servants. The practice was common until its abolition in 1865 with the end of the Civil War and the ratification of the Thirteenth Amendment to the Constitution.
    For the time being, we are using this as the Slavery Plantation umbrella or portal.
