  Get "presidency" right. He, as in any organization, was properly styled as President of the Congress.
  Does a Student Body President remind you of anything? It was an extension of the Continental Congress and finally got concurrence and adoption of the Articles of Confederation, which required unanimous voted to pass anything.
  They were finalized on January 15, 1777, but not ratified until March 1, 1781.
  Necessary amendments were shortly thereafter submitted by never received unanimous consent.
  A meeting was set for May 25, 1787. However, that meeting became the Constitutional Convention.
