    Happy Easter everyone!

Jesus forever lives in the hearts of those who follow his teachings.
Here are 5 of Jesus' teachings to take to heart today and everyday:

    1. The Greatest Commandment: Matthew 22:37-40 NIV
“Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?”
Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart
and with all your soul and with all your mind.’
This is the first and greatest commandment.

And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’

    2. The Golden Rule:
Do to Others What You Would Have Them Do to You:
    Matthew 7:9-12 NIV

“Which of you, if your son asks for bread, will give him a stone?
Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a snake?
If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children,
how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him!
So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you,
for this sums up the Law and the Prophets.

    3. Stop Being Judgmental: Matthew 7:1-5 NIV

“Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others,
you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.

“Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye
and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye?

How can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’
when all the time there is a plank in your own eye?

You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly
to remove the speck from your brother’s eye.

    4. Pray sincerely: Matthew 6:5-13 NIV

“And when you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, for they love to pray standing in the synagogues
and on the street corners to be seen by others. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward in full.

But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen.

Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.

And when you pray, do not keep on babbling like pagans,
for they think they will be heard because of their many words.

Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him.

“This, then, is how you should pray:
    “‘Our Father in heaven,
    hallowed be your name,
your kingdom come, your will be done,
Give us today our daily bread.
    And forgive us our debts,
as we also have forgiven our debtors.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from the evil one."

    5. Forgive

    Matthew 6:14-15 NIV

For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father
will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive others their sins,
your Father will not forgive your sins.
    Matthew 18:21-35 NIV

Then Peter came to Jesus and asked,
“Lord, how many times shall I forgive my brother or sister who sins against me?
Up to seven times?” Jesus answered, “I tell you, not seven times, but seventy-seven times.
“Therefore, the kingdom of heaven is like a king who wanted to settle accounts with his servants.
As he began the settlement, a man who owed him ten thousand bags of gold was brought to him.

Since he was not able to pay, the master ordered that he and his wife and his children
and all that he had be sold to repay the debt.

“At this the servant fell on his knees before him. ‘Be patient with me,’ he begged,
‘and I will pay back everything.’

The servant’s master took pity on him, canceled the debt and let him go.

“But when that servant went out, he found one of his fellow servants who owed him
a hundred silver coins. He grabbed him and began to choke him. ‘Pay back what you owe me!’ he demanded.

“His fellow servant fell to his knees and begged him, ‘Be patient with me, and I will pay it back.’

“But he refused. Instead, he went off and had the man thrown into prison until he could pay the debt.

When the other servants saw what had happened, they were outraged and went and told their master
    everything that had happened.

“Then the master called the servant in.

‘You wicked servant,’ he said, ‘I canceled all that debt of yours because you begged me to.
Shouldn’t you have had mercy on your fellow servant just as I had on you?’

In anger his master handed him over to the jailers to be tortured, until he should pay back all he owed.

“This is how my heavenly Father will treat each of you unless you forgive your brother or sister from your heart.”

    This is The Lords Prayer...
translated from Aramaic 'directly' into English
(rather than from Aramaic to Greek to Latin to English).
Archaeologists uncovered a scroll in 1892
that contains this version of the prayer,
one which has been mistranslated as
"Our Father, who art in heaven..." for millennia.

Imagine how many other things have been lost in translation through the years.

"O cosmic Birther of all radiance and vibration,
soften the ground of our being
    and carve out a space
    within us
    where your Presence can abide.

    Fill us with your creativity
so that we may be empowered
to bear the fruit of your mission.

Let each of our actions bear fruit
    in accordance with our desire.

    Endow us with the wisdom
    to produce and share
    what each being needs
    to grow and flourish.

Untie the tangled threads of destiny
that bind us, as we release others
from the entanglement of past mistakes.

Do not let us be seduced
by that which would divert us
    from our true purpose,
    but illuminate the opportunities
    of the present moment.
    For you are the ground
    and the fruitful vision,
    the birth, power, and fulfillment,
as all is gathered and made whole once again.

    Be followers of the thoughts of the FATHER as dear children in learning;

And walk in love, as Yahshua also has loved us, and has given himself for us an offering

and a sacrifice to the FATHER for a sweetsmelling savour.

Let fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness,

let it not be found within your character seeking to be close

to the FATHER and a part of his household.

Neither let filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting,

which are not convenient: but rather giving of thanks.

For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person,

nor covetous man, who is an idolater,

hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God.

Let no man deceive you with vain words:

for because of these things cometh the wrath of FATHER upon the children of disobedience.

Be not ye therefore partakers with them.

For ye were sometimes UNCONSCIOUS and in darkness,

but now you are conscious and are beginning to see the light in the truth]: walk as children of light:

(For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;)

Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord.

Have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.

For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret.

Remember all things that are reproved are made manifest by the light:

Make sure what ever you do manifests light.
Awake you that sleep, and arise from being unconscious and dead,
and the FATHER shall give you light.
Make sure you walk by example and not as fools, but as wise,

Using your time to manifest good, because the days are evil.

Be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is.

To understand you must seek to understand, you must question!
The truth loves to be questioned, the lie hates to be questioned!
