Presently, The Pole Star aka polestar is Polaris (in Ursa Minor),
    a multiple star about 430 light-years away;

    Thuban (in Draconis) used to be the pole star, from 3942 BC to 1793 BC;
it was superceded by the faint star Kappa Draconis.
Thuban was considered the pole star until about 1900 BC,
when the much brighter Kochab began to approach the pole as well.

    The brilliant Vega (constellation Lyra)
was the brightest North Star (c. 12,000 BC).
In 2787 BC, it lay just 1/180 the width of the full Moon from the pole.

WHY WE NEED THE 2012 APOCALYPSE‏

Yes, humanity actually needs an apocalypse in 2012. All of the great avatars and prophets and cultures, Nostradamus, Casey, the Hopi, Mayans, St. John, DaVinci, and so many others, have told us that we are traveling the wrong way on a one way street. We know that environmental stress causes evolution; basically, adapt or die. The erroneous notion is, however, that evolution is a slow process. We now know that this is not always the case and that evolution can be almost instantaneous. Flip a few genes on and the species as you know it is transformed. We also know that that the term apocalypse means `revelation.' Certainly, humanity is in need of revelation.

Will 2012 bring death and destruction? Well, yes, and no. Are we talking the end of the world? No. But we may be talking about an even increased series of the kind of events we saw in 2011. Climate chaos, economic meltdown, political turmoil, further radicalization of religious dogma, both human and naturally caused environmental calamity, even larger scale fish, bird, wildlife deaths, and surprises yet to be seen are all in the prophetic cards. The tempo has been building and people have been duped and too blind to see the signs of the times. We already have climate refugees. In many parts of the world, water is a scarce commodity. Increasing glacial melt is changing sea levels and possibly ocean currents. Massive fish, bird and other wildlife die offs are increasing. There have been record numbers of earthquakes and volcanic eruptions. The melting, CO2 filled Tundra's is another wild card. The Apocalypse is here now for those with eyes to see.

Here's the thing, for some reason humanity epitomizes Newton's law that bodies at rest, tend to stay at rest unless acted upon by an outside force. We only change when confronted by crisis. Otherwise, we stay "comfortably numb." Even when all the facts are laid out before us, our reaction is usually, "Oh, okay, whatever." But if the grocery store is empty, the enemy is at our doorstep, or the sky is actually falling, then we catalyze into action. When the disaster is upon us, we act. The key question is, "Can we always act in time to prevent total disaster?"

Memes, cultural viruses of the mind, have been the leading cause in slowing human evolution. What you do won't make a difference. The problem is too big. You're vote doesn't count. God likes poor people. We need to collect billions of dollars and waste them on building absurd edifices to please God. You are all basically sinners and since you must be saved, you must follow this religious dogma. It's always been this way and always will be. Only evil people are wealthy and they will be punished. One race is superior to another. Everything will be okay, it's not really dangerous. You can't cure diseases with the power of the mind. Your lot in life is the luck of the draw, live with it. We don't have anything to do with climate change. Species die off all of the time. This is just a normal cycle. We're too big to fail. Buy this and save. Don't tax the rich, it will hurt the economy. Drill baby, drill. All of these viruses have been so toxic; most in the world feel helpless. And yet, for thousands of years, the mystics have told us, "No, you have the power. You create the reality." And now, quantum physics is telling those who listen that the mystics are right. The observed and the observer are one. Life in interconnected, entangled, and each event is related and affects all events. Medical science is showing us that prostate cancer and memory loss can be cured by either turning on or off genes. Basically, new paradigms are being created and old ones are being replaced.

But, timing is everything. While worn out dogmas are experiencing their death throws in church pews, the halls of science, the streets and alleys or repressed states, schools of medicine and in the depths of the human psyche, time is running out. What do I mean by that? Simply, the destruction humanity is causing on the planet is happening at a faster pace than it takes to correct the problems. We have passed environmental, economic and political tipping points. The die is cast and only clear, conscious, sincere and strong visualized choosing can ameliorate the consequences. Actually, the best you can do is save yourself since that is all anyone can really do. I do not mean run to the woods and become a survivalist, but you need to be prepared for worst case scenarios. Must it be this way? It didn't have to, many a prophet warned of our folly. In Nostradamus' image of the wheel in the lost book, part of the Tarot Code spoken of in the "Waking God Trilogy," we see images of a dysfunctional wheel; all that we know falling apart. In his Tower, we see the flames consuming all that we have built on a foundation or dogma, sand and error. DaVinci, in his not very discussed prophecies, talks of great calamity. But none of these things had to be. We chose the worse case in absentia, through omission, through ignorance, looking through blinders wrapped in memes we were convinced were true. And yet, we still do not act. The seed for action is there and we are seeing some positive fruit, but it appears that only the Apocalypse will wake us from our slumber and end our millennia of torment, destruction, lies, war, and disconnect from the environment and each other. Keep in mind that our evolution can, and hopefully will, be instantaneous. The tragedies, political absurdities, environmental collapse and the revelation of the greed that has dominated humanity's history are coming to light. It can activate the `god seed,' the so called junk DNA within us all, that will awaken us to a new earth. Not in some idiotic religious sense, but in a deeply rooted spiritual sense in which we finally, "get it."

Make no mistake, the Apocalypse is here now. The kettle is about to boil over. If you are prepared to entertain totally new concepts, new paradigms, new sciences, a new spirituality, all will be well for you. The answer will not be outside of you. There will be no savior here, or there. You have been warned about that. In fact, as Mantrella says, a lead character in Waking God Book I, "It is not about saving humanity, it never has been." You are not evil. You are not born in some self-serving concept of universal sin. Let the pressure of 2012 build within and allow your inner transformation, your evolution.

Flipping genes on is evolution if, by definition:

Evolution is any change across successive generations in the heritable characteristics of biological populations
If genes are switched on and there is a successive change in heritable characteristics, then that is evolution. Lipton argues for spontaneous evolution and I think it is highly possible, and actually needed if we are to survive. It is quite possible that in the 90% junk there are mutations that will express. Not sure you need new mutations to call it evolution if you end up with something different than what you started with. Granted, if you have them, you start with them, so from a purist perspective ...

Perhaps. I tend to favor George Carlin: "It's all bullshit"

But it might be that some bullshit is less wrong than other bullshit. I posted Asimov's essay The Relativity of Wrong here recently. Insofar as I don't have a choice in holding *some* belief (because it's what our minds are for), I'm going to strive to at least discern which bullshit is less wrong, and put my belief there.

"We know that environmental stress causes evolution; basically, adapt or die. The erroneous notion is, however, that evolution is a slow process. We now know that this is not always the case and that evolution can be almost instantaneous. Flip a few genes on and the species as you know it is transformed."

Flipping genes on is not evolution. Evolution happens when genes mutate. Most mutations are not beneficial and their carriers die out before they can reproduce.

Some mutations confer a small survival benefit and gradually over a long period of time they become predominant in a population because the individuals who have the mutations are better at surviving to reproduce than those who don't. This process obviously takes many generations.

There are also what geneticists call "selective sweeps" where one mutation comes to predominate in just a single generation. This can happen when an individual possessing a mutation mates with almost every member of the population, or it can happen when every individual who doesn't possess the mutation dies out.

An example of the latter case is thought to have happened with the human gene for producing lactase as an adult. Most mammals lose the ability to digest milk after adolescence because they cannot make lactase. When humans domesticated cattle around 9,000 - 10,000 years ago, a few of them had a mutation that allowed them to continue producing lactase into adulthood, and they had an important source of protein that others didn't. Then it seems that some kind of famine arose, and only the cattle-owning and lactase-producing humans survived. At least, this is inferred by the sudden predominance of the gene in the archaeological remains.

So I don't believe that there's any hope for the spontaneous evolution of humanity in 2012, at least not in a conventional understanding of evolution as the accumulation of mutations that leads to the creation of new species.

Now, epigenetics might flip on genes to express proteins as a kind of latent trait we didn't know we had. I'm not saying there's no chance of us changing quickly in response to the environment, just that your use of the word "evolution" in this case is a bit sloppy.

But we made the rules around what evolution is before we had the reality of genetic modification in its various forms. Might not these also be tools of evolution? They behave just like them, surely...

Maybe I’m missing something but it seems to me you’re all agreeing really. Sorry and all that icon_surprised. )

I understood the posted article to mean that 2012 will happen inside each one of us as we bring our own beliefs to fruition. It is the ultimate self-fulfilling prophesy and, as such, a fantastic opportunity. It is our nether-felt kick into action vis-a-vis our potential for improvement, on every level.

Bs? So what, if it brings fantasy into reality? It can still be what human beings choose for it to be, imho.

    Phil:
    Your understanding is correct!!!!!

This program has always been a good home for Mavericks. And why not? Unrelenting orthodoxy can be boring. And one of the great scientific Mavericks of history was Jean Baptiste Lamarck, a French aristocrat who provided one of the more unconventional theories of evolution, you know, the one that says giraffes' necks get longer as they stretch for food, and the neck extension gets passed to baby giraffes.

All of which is, of course, scientific heresy. But Lamarck also founded invertebrate zoology; he actually coined the term 'vertebrate' and he also popularised the word 'biology' all those years ago. Not bad for someone dismissed too quickly as a man who got it wrong.

Well one of Lamarck's disciples is Professor Ted Steele from the University of Wollongong. He claims to have found confirmation of Lamarck's idea of evolution at the cellular level. His theories too, you won't be surprised to hear, are also considered controversial. And here he is to tell you all about them.

    Ted Steele::
My office had clearly been disturbed. There imprinted on the note pad was the outline of a message. I deduced that my close associate, John, had left the incriminating note.

I explained to my wife over the phone that the distinctive curves of the Js and Ts bore all the hallmarks of John's particular writing style.

In science we often depend on 'signatures' to interpret events and phenomena we either cannot see directly or only perceive in vague outline. All fossilised reconstructions in biology require empathetic interpretative skills and indeed day-to-day data interpretation in the more quantitative sciences such as physics and molecular biology, require the same 'signature recognition' skills.

The identification of sub-atomic particles in atom smashing machines depends on the 'tracks' such elementary particles leave in 'cloud chamber' detection devices. The detection of elusive neutrinos coming from the sun depends on sensitive devices located deep underground. A unique positive signal is recorded when a neutrino makes a rare direct hit with another sub-atomic particle.

And in the well known cases of comets and asteroids, we have no doubt that the craters on the moon's surface are the impact sites of such large cosmic bolides. Indeed, we are absolutely certain that similar and visually distinct craters on the earth and other bodies in the solar system, are caused in this way, even though we rarely witness the impact event itself.

Today I want to tell you of the history and significance of some of the data which has arisen from our research on the molecular genetics of the immune system, the system which allows our body to produce disease-fighting antibodies in the bloodstream.

My principal collaborators in this scientific adventure are Professor Bob Blanden of the John Curtin School of Medical Research, and Dr George Weiller of the Research School of Biological Sciences at the Australian National University in Canberra.

The evidence we now have in hand is quite unequivocal: etched into the very fabric of our chromosomes are the telltale signs of what we will technically describe as 'soma-to-germline genetic impact events'.

The strength and quality of this evidence is now as strong, metaphorically speaking, as our confidence in the origin of craters, the impact sites of cosmic bolides. We thus have clear evidence for what we have termed is 'Lamarck's Signature' written into our genes. A story we have now recounted in a book for the general reader. Let me explain.

In 1809, 50 years before Darwin's 'Origin of Species' appeared, the great French biologist, Jean Baptiste de Lamarck first articulated the emerging concept that species transform themselves 'one into the other'. Lamarck is thus one of the founding fathers of modern biology and evolutionary thinking.

Lamarck assumed that bodily characteristics acquired in the parents by use or disuse of a tissue or organ system reacting to a sustained environmental stimulus could be inherited by the offspring. That is, the notion of the inheritance of acquired characteristics.

In modern parlance, Lamarck, and later Charles Darwin, assumed what we would now term 'soma-to-germline flow of genetic information'. The dictionary defines the word 'soma' as 'of the body', not part of the reproductive germ cells, our eggs or sperm.

In contrast to Lamarck, Charles Darwin's central idea of 1859 was that parents possessing the best characteristics for survival in that environment would be 'selected' to produce the next generation of offspring. This is the process of natural selection. Over eons of evolutionary time, Darwin imagined that new species would arise through natural selection of favoured types.

This revolutionary proposal has ripped through the intellectual and spiritual life of mankind. It is, in the words of the philosopher Daniel C. Dennett, 'Darwin's Dangerous Idea' because it contradicted prevailing religious views that God created all species in a period of about a week a few thousand years ago.

But Darwin also had another equally dangerous idea which he borrowed, and modified from Lamarck, and from his grandfather, Erasmus Darwin, namely the notion of the genetical inheritance of acquired characteristics. Darwin called his idea 'pangenesis'.

The spur for his theory arose from Darwin's acute observations of the exquisite variations and adaptations of plants and animals, particularly the latter, when domesticated by man. To quote Darwin's own words:

'... with animals the increased use or disuse of parts has had a marked influence ... in the domestic duck ... the bones of the wing weigh less and the bones of the leg more, in proportion to the whole skeleton, than do the same bones in the wild-duck; and this change may be safely attributed to the domestic duck flying much less, and walking more, than its wild parents.'

And Darwin went on to state:

'The great and inherited development of the udders in cows and goats in countries where they are habitually milked, in comparison with these organs in other countries, is probably another instance of the effects of use.'

Darwin considered that during an acquired adaptation, the somatic cells of the target organ would be excited to emit genetic material in a form he called 'gemmules', also known as 'pangenes'. They were thought to be discharged into the bloodstream and in the course of their circulation around the body they would register on the germ cells, the sperms and eggs, and be transmitted as part of the genetic endowment to the next generation.

His idea of a role for somatically emitted 'gemmules' having an inherited effect on what we would now call the 'germline DNA' is very similar in principle to our current ideas on the genetic evolution of the immune system.

Why has this apparently innocuous proposition been so controversial?

First, in 1885, three years after Darwin's death, a German biologist, August Weismann, responding to the challenge of Darwin's Theory of Pangenesis, erected his now famous 'barrier' between the somatic cells and germ cells. 'Weismann's Barrier' was assumed to protect the germ cells from any type of genetic change within the body.

The bulk of Weismann's experimental refutation focused on testing whether acquired parental mutilations could be inherited.

He is most famous for his work on chopping off the tails of rats shortly after birth. He then showed in breeding experiments extending over many generations, that such tail chopping at birth never produced a tailless offspring.

Critics of this experiment have pointed out that such experiments did not test Lamarck's idea. A short tail caused by chopping is a modification that was not produced by the rat. In contrast, Lamarck believed that only modifications produced by a response of the rat to the environment would be inherited.

Of course any rational individual would have known that the Jewish custom of circumcision of young boys has never resulted in a baby boy born without a foreskin.

The Lamarckian theme was next developed by the Austrian biologist, Paul Kammerer. His most famous experiment concerned his work on the midwife toad, Alytes Obstetricians.

Most toads and frogs mate in water, yet Alytes mates on dry land. Normal water-borne species of the male toads mating in water firmly grasp the female around the waist, maintaining the embrace for considerable time, days and weeks, until she spawns her eggs. To maintain this grip on the slippery female, the male develops calloused and horny-spined nuptial pads on its palms and fingers. However the Alytes variety, mating on dry land, do not have or need these pads because the female's skin is dry and rough. Paul Kammerer reported that if Alytes were induced to copulate in water like other toads, over several generations they eventually developed nuptial pads as an acquired hereditary trait.

Critics dismissed these results as fraudulent, and these unproven charges drove Kammerer to suicide.

The third historical influence which has contributed to making Lamarckian thought a 'no-go' zone in science, can be attributed to the activities of the Russian plant breeder, T.D. Lysenko.

Lysenko was appointed by Joseph Stalin to improve Russian agriculture during the 1930s through to the 1950s. He applied questionable and non-scientific procedures in an effort to demonstrate crop yield improvement using a seed treatment and germination process referred to as 'vernalisation'.

The Lysenkian approach to reviving Lamarckian ideas completely alienated Western scientists because he also ruthlessly pursued his scientific opponents who were executed by Stalin, or sent to the Gulag.

But what about our recently published data on the genes which encode the disease fighting antibodies of the immune system? These data point to 'Lamarck's Signature' identified as the imprint of numerous soma-to-germline genetic impact events etched into the DNA of our chromosomes encoding antibody genes. Events which have repeatedly occurred over 400-million years of evolutionary time from sharks to humans.

The first point to make is that antibody genes have a unique structure which allows us to identify clear DNA sequence patterns in what we call either the 'germline configuration' or the 'somatic configuration'.

In general terms the 'germline configuration' refers to the pattern of the genes in our sperm or eggs. The 'somatic configuration' refers to the particular structure of the antibody genes when they are expressed in our circulating white blood cells, the B-lymphocytes.

In the 'somatic configuration', antibody genes in response to foreign invading germs, undergo rapid mutation. Those mutant B-cells expressing the fittest antibody gene sequence are then selected and induced by the invading microbe to secrete antibodies.

Essentially we find that there are many tell-tale features of the 'somatic mutation pattern' literally written into the 'germline configuration.'

The simples interpretation is that they have arisen there by the reverse transcriptase-mediated soma-to-germline flow of genetic information.

Lamarck's legacy in modern biology we believe is now quite pervasive. It is written as 'soma-to-germline genetic impact signatures' into the DNA of our chromosomes. And we do not think at all that it is restricted only to the genes of the immune system. As project 'Hugo', the 'human genome project', uncovers the sequence of many more of our genes, we may find Lamarck's signature written all over them.

Indeed much present evidence points to such a Lamarckian gene feedback loop operating for many other genes in the cell, the so-called highly conserved 'housekeeping genes' which keep us functioning normally.

    I thank you for listening.

Recursion on is widespread, not excluding genomics; see in quantum theory, in neural network algorithms, recursive PCR and search- & alignment algorithms. By removal of "Junk DNA" and "Central Dogma" axioms, the principle of recursive genome function (Pellionisz, 2008) permits, and the compute-need of analysis of DNA necessitates to supersede dogma and enter a new era of consideration if the intrinsic algorithms of genome function are based on a DNA>RNA>PROTEIN>DNA (etc) recursion.

The intertwined genomic- and epigenomic processes result in the concept of HoloGenome Regulation.

An array of recursive algorithms is surveyed for consideration to interpret recursive genome function: recursion in quantum theory of the HoloGenome, Back-propagation, Tensor Network Theory, Support Vector Machine neural net approaches - utilized e.g. in microRNA mining.

Closest attention is focused on "fractal interpretation of genome function" wherein "pyknon-like elements; PLE" (repetitive motifs, Rigoutsos et al., 2006) are the material basis of self-similar repetitions in the DNA, to govern fractal growth (FractoGene, 2002).

New results of an analysis of the smallest full DNA of free living organisms (Mycoplasma Genitalium) where the found PLE frequency over rank log/log curve follows the Zipf-Mandelbrot Parabolic Fractal Distribution Curve (ZMPFDC), while A,C,T,G random-strings of identical length did not show PLE-architecture; ZMPFDC did not appear.

Fractality of DNA provides "algorithmic reference sequence" and thus "fractal defects" can be targeted, reducing the burden on brute force. Deployment of Personal Genome Computers (PGC) accelerates computing, based on FPGA-hybrids eminently suited for small-bit-size string manipulations, developed for defense, financial & graphic computing.

"Fractal defects" correlate with hereditary syndromes. Existing software ported to PGC with hybrid hardware benchmarks acceleration by orders of magnitude.

Verification of the value of human DNA at $5,000 and the value of its interpretation provides a margin of $60,000 making FPGA-hybrid PGC under $20,000 hw and $3,200 sw feasible for the ecosystem.

The singularity of inversion of cost/value takes genome computing to end users, like computers went from monsters of mainframes to widespread and user-friendly PC-s, thereby positively disrupting the ecosystem of computing.

    Wiki-reference on 'orthodox-standard' interpretation.

    Size of junk DNA

About 95% of the human genomehas at one time been designated as "junk", including most sequences within intronsand most intergenic DNA. While much of this sequence may be an evolutionaryartifact that serves no present-day purpose, some junk DNA may function in ways that are not currently understood. Moreover, the conservationof some junk DNA over many millions of years of evolutionmay imply an essential function. Some who consider the "junk" label as something of a misnomer, but others who consider it appropriate as junk is stored away for possible new uses, rather than thrown out; others prefer the term "noncoding DNA" (although junk DNA often includes transposonsthat encode proteins with no clear value to their host genome). About 80% of the bases in the human genome may be transcribed,[3] but transcription does not necessarily imply function.[citation needed]

Broadly, the science of functional genomics has developed widely accepted techniques to characterize protein-coding genes, RNA genes, and regulatory regions. In the genomes of most plantsand animals, however, these together constitute only a small percentage of genomic DNA (less than 2% in the case of humans).[4] The function, if any, of the remainder remains under investigation. Most of it can be identified as repetitive elementsthat have no known biological function for their host (although they are useful to geneticists for analyzing lineageand phylogeny). Still, a large amount of sequence in these genomes falls under no existing classification other than "junk". For example, recent experiments removed 1% of the mouse genome and were unable to detect any effect on the phenotype[5]. This result suggests that the DNA is nonfunctional. However, it remains a possibility that there is some function that the experiments performed on the mice were merely insufficient to detect. This can also be evidence for reconstructing ancestral lineages.

While overall genome size, and by extension the amount of junk DNA, are correlated to organism complexity, there are many exceptions. For example, the genome of the unicellular Polychaos dubium(formerly known as Amoeba dubia) has been reported to contain more than 200 times the amount of DNA in humans[6][7].

The pufferfish Takifugurubripes genome is only about one tenth the size of the human genome, yet seems to have a comparable number of genes. Most of the difference appears to lie in the junk DNA. This puzzle is known as the C-value enigmaor, more conventionally, the C-value paradox[8]. Endofwiki

Principle of Recursive Genome Function Supersedes Dogmas; By Andras Pellionisz, Online Ahead of Print; (Scientific Visionary Vindicated)

A Eureka Moment concerning the fractal character of neuronsled in turn to a novel picture of genomics where protein structures act back recursively upon their DNA code-- in outright contradiction to prevailing orthodoxy. A household name in neurosciencefor his tensor network theory, Dr. András Pellioniszhas recently had another far-reaching discovery borne out. This insight has now received striking confirmation in stunning results from the new field of epigenetics-- promising a whole raft of novel medical diagnoses and therapies.

Sunnyvale, Calif. (PRWEB) July 16, 2008 -- A landmark article on "The Principle of Recursive Genome Function" (received December 7, accepted December 18, 2007) by András J. Pellionisz appears online in Springer's e-Journal Cerebellum.

The paper marks the first anniversary of an historic event--the release of pilot results for ENCODE, the Encyclopedia of DNA Elements project. Building on the results of the Human Genome Project, the ENCODE effort revealed a far more complex DNA coding sequence than was ever previously imagined. "There's a lot more going on than we thought," said Collins, who is director of the National Human Genome Research Institute (NHGRI). Dr. Collins issued a mandate a year ago "the scientific community will need to rethink some long-held views".
A happy few did not need to rethink either the "central dogma of molecular biology" (Crick, 1956) or the misnomer of "junk" DNA (Ohno 1972), since they never believed them in the first place. The dictum claiming that a flow of information from proteins back to DNA "never happens" or the idea that 98.7% of the human genome should be disregarded as junk was never very believable.

As a direct response to Dr. Collins' call, the principle of recursive genome function (PRGF) in one stroke sweeps away two dogmas which prevailed for over 50 years concerning the function of the double helix.

Recursive genome function is a process whereby proteins iteratively access information packets of DNA to build hierarchies of more complex protein structures. Such recursive development is illustrated in the fractal growth of cerebellar Purkinje neuron.

    http://www.junkdna.com/pellionisz_principle

    gi_recursivefractalcolor_png.

Starting from a primary information packet, a Y-shaped, fractal protein template is constructed by a "forward growth" process - in accord with the traditional picture - via transcription of DNA to RNA (where, in turn, RNA builds nucleic acids up into structural protein). In the course of constructing the Y-shaped template, the primary gene is turned on. Thus, the most primitive part of the process retains Watson's simplified scheme. The principle does not contradict the 'DNA makes RNA makes proteins' picture, but rather goes beyond it - dispensing with both the hitherto forbidden feedback mechanism as well as the entire notion of junk DNA.

On the contrary, the genetically crucial process known as methylation demonstrates just such a "backward" flow. In a stunning reversal of long-held views, it now appears that environmental influences can act directly on the genetic code. Moreover, methylation of DNA is not merely epigenetic, but HoloGenomic:

Dr. Alexandre Akoulitchev, Oxford University, UK (not involved in the study) says: "The PRGF of Pellionisz is helping not only his recursive algorithmic approach to the genome (FractoGene), but puts the various meanings of 'epigenetics' into the perspective of clearly defined novel axioms. The PostModern Age of Genomics (starting with his PostGenetics.org), synthesizes inconsistent interpretations and haphazard notions of "epigenetics" into a solid scientific foundation of HoloGenomics."

Leroy Hood (2003) and finally Richard Dawkins (2008) have suggested that genomics is now a branch of information science. With modern genomics becoming postmodern genome informatics, a natural question arises: What axioms will take the place of outmoded assumptions?

The traditional axioms could not put to a dignified rest because, as the wisdom has it, "data never kill theories, only better theory can kill less tenable theories."

The principle of recursive genome function addresses this fundamental, decisive role. The time has come to go public, after more than a decade of clandestine work - not even asking for support.

András Pellionisz is a biophysicist, formerly of New York University. Since heading up HelixoMetry in Silicon Valley, he has been busy assembling a portfolio in anticipation of the time when the imposing dogmas and their bulwarks would give way. A widely published author, Pellionisz remained largely silent for 15 years to spare him a collision with the powers that were.

His pioneering work in biological neural networks, aired in over a hundred publications, won him both NIH support and recognition by way of the Alexander von Humboldt Prize for Senior Distinguished American Scientists.

When Pellionisz also made a bold step and published his research on the fractal geometry of cellular development based on a recursive DNA paths (1989), his next NIH application was overlooked by his peers and the establishment maintained a double lock on genomics. Their ideology was: Don't look back on DNA, since recursion can "never happen" and even if you would, "there is only junk."

As a scientist with his first degree in engineering, he developed a neural net application for NASA, using the parallel computers of the time (so-called Transputers).

By 2005 fundamental problems with underlying axioms of genomics became too obvious. Meanwhile, millions, if not hundreds of millions were dying of junk DNA diseases while 98.7% of the human DNA was officially still considered untouchable.

Together with his fellow pioneers, Dr. Pellionisz launched the trial balloon of International PostGenetics Society. Indeed, almost a year ahead of disclosing the official conclusions of ENCODE that "junk" DNA is anything but, the IPGS became the first organization to officially abandon the misnomer at its European Inaugural in 2006. At that meeting, Pellionisz pioneered the approach of diagnosis (leading to therapy and eventual cure) of junk DNA diseases caused by fractal defects in genomic regulatory sequences.

In late 2006 a manuscript attempting to close the chapter on junk DNA was co-authored by 20 Founders of IPGS. Those suffering from "junk DNA diseases" probably wish that the manuscript was given the benefit of a peer-review.

Instead, the mounting pressure caused publication of ENCODE results 3 months earlier than planned. Thirty major papersshredded long-held views and printed staggering statements such as "the concept of genes is a myth." A deafening silence ensued.

Rather than heeding advice of Dr. Collins of "re-thinking long-held beliefs" research went "genome-wide" for more data, as next-generation sequencing made the entire genome of many species (including humans) available with rapidly melting price tag.

Application of brute force to turn out more data instead of revising axioms created its own problems, however. A dreaded DNA data deluge looms large. Without a combination of algorithmic reduction as well as building the proper computing architecture, the brute force approach of full genome sequencing and genome-wide analysis have already hit a compute- and data-wall.

The old bottleneck "get info" (sequencing to obtain data). The new bottleneck is "use info" (understanding what sequenced data mean). The promise inherent in the Principle is that an algorithmic reduction delivers us an understanding of physiological and therefore pathological genome function in a new light. This clears the road for rapid advancement beyond a long-overdue breakthrough. In HoloGenomics, all, including non-genic conditions can now be focused upon. This is the direct response to consumers, including those who are not even patients. For those impatient enough to prevent some undesirable conditions, the principle opens an opportunity.

    Epigenetic Inheritance

    "What Genes Remember"

Epigenetic inheritance of acquired characters more powerful than inheritance of genes

The experience of one generation can modify genes passed on to the next via a variety of mechanisms that blur the distinction between epigenetic and genetic Dr. Mae-Wan Ho

"Sins of the fathers, and their fathers"

The experience of young boys could affect not just their own health in later life, but also the health of their sons and grandsons. The UK research team led by Marcus Pembrey at the Institute of Child Health, University College London published their findings in 2006 in the European Journal of Human Genetics [1], accompanied by a News and Commentary piece, "Sins of the fathers, and their fathers" [2].
Two years later, a long feature article, "What genes remember", in Prospect Magazine stated [3]: "Many geneticists now think that the behaviour of our genes can be altered by experience - and even that these changes can be passed on to future generations. This finding may transform our understanding of inheritance and evolution."
The significance of the finding is that it departs from well-known and generally accepted environmental effects on the unborn foetus in mother's womb or other maternal effects, mediated by the many provisions in the egg cell during embryogenesis, and after birth, in mother's milk.
In contrast, effects passed on through the paternal line are associated with sperm cells that contain very little apart from the father's genes.
Somehow, the father's experience as a young boy appeared to have affected his genes and the changes are transmitted to his male offspring in what appears to be a case of Lamarckian inheritance of acquired characters that still gets many biologists hot under the collar (see Box)..

    Lamarck, the scourge of neo-Darwinists

French naturalist Jean Baptiste de Lamarck (1744-1829) is credited with having invented the discipline of biology and also for being the first to propose a comprehensive theory of evolution: organisms evolve through natural means and not through special creation. The two main mechanisms in Lamarck's theory of evolution were: ‘use and disuse', use enhances and reinforces the development of the organs or tissues while disuse results in atrophy; and ‘inheritance of acquired characters', transmitting to subsequent generations the tendency to develop certain new characteristic that the organism has acquired in its own development. Lamarck's theory preceded Charles Darwin's theory of evolution by natural selection by more than 50 years [4] (see Lamarck the Mythical Precursor, ISIS scientific publication).
While Darwin invoked the inheritance of acquired characters as a subsidiary mechanism to the natural selection of random variations, his modern-day disciples, the neo-Darwinists, have strenuously opposed any taint of Lamarckism. They insist that genetic variations - changes in base sequence of DNA - arise by random mutations unrelated to the environment or their survival value, which are then subject to environmental selection; those mutants that survive, survive, while the rest die out [5] (see Why Lamarck Won't Go Away, ISIS scientific publication). This belief is encapsulated in Francis Crick's Central Dogma of molecular biology, which decreed that genetic information flows strictly one-way from DNA to RNA to protein (that determine the characteristics of the organism selected by the environment), and never in reverse. In their words, the environment can never pass information back to the genes, so acquired characters cannot be inherited.
Since the mid-1970s, if not before, molecular geneticists have been turning up evidence that increasingly contradicts the Central Dogma, and by the early 1980s, the new genetics of the ‘fluid genome' had emerged [6] (see Living with the Fluid Genome, ISIS publication). But apart from a few ‘heretics', no one dared to say a word against the Central Dogma or the neo-Darwinian theory of evolution which depends on it.
Things have changed a lot since the human and other genomes were sequenced, and deposited in one freely accessible central database [7] (Death of the Central Dogma, SiS 24). The database is not much good for business, or drug discovery [8] (The human genome sellout, ISIS News 6), but turns out to be very good [7] "for research that exposes the poverty of the genetic determinism ideology that has led to the creation of the database in the first place."
The 2004 series Life after the Central Dogma [9] (Science in Society 24) marked the end of genetic determinism, and documented why the new genetics demands a thoroughly ecological approach in our public health, environment, and social policies. Research findings since have strongly reinforced this message to policy makers. It now appears that the experience of individuals during critical periods of early development can influence not just their own lives as adults, but those of their children and children's children.[/b]

    The Avon Study

The UK Avon Longitudinal Study of Parents and Children (ALSPAC) is a long-term health research project involving more than 14 000 mothers enrolled during pregnancy in 1991 and 1992. Analysing data from the study, researchers showed that the sons of fathers who smoked before puberty had a significantly greater body mass index (measure of obesity) at 9 years of age: 18.15 compared with 17.23 in sons of fathers that never smoked [1]. But there was no effect on the body mass index of the daughters.
Faced with this intriguing finding, the research team turned to old records of people born in1890, 1905, and 1920 from Overkalix, an isolated community in Northern Sweden, where previously, they had reported an association of ancestral food supply with longevity and death from cardiovascular disease and diabetes.
Re-analyzing the records showed that the paternal grandfathers' food supply during mid childhood was indeed linked to the risk of death in grandsons, but not in grand-daughters. Poor availability of food was associated with reduced risk of death in grandsons by 35 percent while good availability of food was associated with increased risk of death by 67 percent compared with controls.
In contrast, the nutritional status of the paternal grandmother had no influence on the grandsons, but affected the granddaughter in a similar way. Good food availability increased the risk of death for grand-daughters by 113 percent, while poor food availability decreased the risk of death by 49 percent.
A previous study on the same ALSPAC database had found an association between high birth weight in grand children and type 2 diabetes in maternal grandparents; but not in paternal grandparent [10].

    Epigenetic inheritance

The results of the ALSPAC studies imply that experience during a crucial period of life could influence more than one generation in a sex-specific way.
Although the mechanisms involved in humans are not yet known, this kind of trans-generational effects is being taken more seriously because similar effects - now described as ‘epigenetic inheritance' - have been documented in a substantial number of animal studies. For example, how an adult rat responds to stress was found to depend on whether its mother cared for it adequately as a pup, which marks certain genes for the rest of its life [11] (Caring Mothers Reduce Response to Stress for Life, SiS 24), and we shall update that fascinating story [12] (Caring Mothers Strike Fatal Flow against Genetic Determinism, SiS 41). Another series of studies show that a single exposure of rats during embryogenesis to the fungicide vincozolin is sufficient to cause a range of serious diseases and abnormalities in the adults that are transmitted to three further generations [13] (see Epigenetic Toxicology, SiS 41).
Epigenetic change is usually defined as that which does not involve changing DNA sequences, or "the structural adaptation of chromosomal regions so as to register signal or perpetuate altered activity states" [14], but such definition are rapidly becoming obsolete.
In reality, epigenetic modifications encompass a great variety of mechanisms acting not just at transcription but at post-transcription and translation of genetic messages, and indeed, even rewrites genomic DNA itself [15, 16] (see Epigenetic Inheritance through Sperm Cells, and Rewriting the Genetic Text in Brain Development and Evolution, SiS 41). Epigenetic mechanisms include various enzyme-catalyzed chemical modifications of genomic DNA (methylation of cytosine residues in CpG dinucleotides) and histone chromatin proteins (methylation, acetylation, phosphorylation, ubiquitinylation, etc.), which recruits other proteins such as transcription factors and repressors, that together, determine the activity state of specific genes or sets of genes [17, 18]. Also included are changes to the genetic messages transcribed [19, 20]. RNA editing systematically alters base sequences, such as changing adenosine (A) to inosine (I), which is read as guanosine (G), resulting in an entirely new message. Alternative splicing creates different proteins; and RNA interference determines which messages are cleaved, or blocked from translation. Transcription factors promoting the expression of certain genes may be involved at the same time in repressing neighbouring genes [19]. Finally, epigenetic mechanisms include reverse transcription of altered transcripts [15, 16], which has the effect of rewriting the genetic messages encoded in genomic DNA, and hence distinctly blurring the boundaries between epigenetic and genetic.
Epigenetic modifications occur in cell differentiation, so that different genes are expressed, different messages are altered, say in brain cells as opposed to skin cells, and they are inherited by the daughter cells in cell division. Most epigenetic changes are ‘erased' in the germ cells that produce the next generation (DNA methylation is studied in greatest detail in this respect), but some modifications survive, and are passed on to the next generation. We shall be dealing with different examples in other articles in this series.

Commentary by John Shadow aka shiloh, describing the persepective in the interpretation of Thuban 101:

Epigenetic Inheritance infers the possibility and potential for the human genome to retransfigure itself, following a (superlative) change of the environment (as is predicted by JS to be completed by August 4th, 2013).
Epigenetic Inheritance also refers to 'holistic' DNA/RNA encoding patterns in comparison to the 'genetic entrapment' (you are born this way and cannot change it) of the sexchromosomal legacy of the blending and synthesis of parental genes.
Epigenetics so describes the overall geometrical morphology and 'shape' for the biochemical and molecular genetic material to engage the 3% of the coding DNA/RNA via its 'intron' envelope (of so 90% of the biochemically non-encoding DNA/RNA).A Key to this is the supersymmetric DNA/RNA Template, which assigns 'magneto charges' to individual nucleotidally coupled baseletters (A-T(U) and G-C).

The 'Epigenetic Envelope' so allows 'sexual differentiation' between the baseletters, say in rendering Guanine and Adenosine as 'female' and the coupled Cytosine and Thymine/Uracil) as 'male'.

--- 1. How does nature take creative leaps? In the fossil record there are repeated gaps that no "missing link" can fill. The most glaring is the leap by which inorganic molecules turned into DNA. For billions of years after the Big Bang, no other molecule replicated itself. No other molecule was remotely as complicated. No other
molecule has the capacity to string billions of pieces of information that remain self-sustaining despite countless transformations into all the life forms that DNA has produced.

    "From the Mayan Annals:
There is more to DNA, than is apparant in analysing it experimentally. In the 1951/53 Crick-Wilkins-Watson-Franklin (CWWF) mode and in all the three nucleotidal base-pairings: Adenine-Thymine, Adenine-Uracil and Guanine-Cytosine; the purine pentagonal symmetry is suppressed in the hydrogenic bonding.
Reflecting Adenine and Guanine in the mirror of the Carbon-Double Bond realigns the bases.

The 'twisting' of Cytosine and the reflection of Uracil occur in higher dimensional Dragon-Klein-Bottle-Space and one hydrogen atom in Guanine forms a new connection to the sugar-phosphate backbone, whilst H-N-H=NH2 (amine) switches with the Cytosine's backbone connection.

Subsequently, the double-helix becomes a stacked spiralling sequence of pentagons around a decagon with longrange translational order and a longrange rotational order with counting frequency XY=1, that is as can be observed in Penrose tiling patterns in the ratio of rhombus-angles of 36 and 72 degrees.

The importance of the geometry for the double-helix is found in the encompassed pentagonal space, around which the 'nucleotidal staircase' ascends and descends. This encompassed space serves for the MAGNETIC INDUCTION of the Information to be processed in the unfolding of the 'messenger' RNA strands, copying themselves under the instructions of the 'precursor' DNA.

This Magnetic Induction uses the encoding of experience factoers in the form of the Fibonacci-Awareness Triplets: (Old SelfState; and Experience; New SelfState), with the Newest Self becoming the initialiser for the next awareness triplet and using the highest Oldest Self as the next experience iteratively.

This defines twinned pentagons to form the geometry for the universal genetic encoding and specifies a fivefolded symmetry of quasicrystallinity and as has been discovered in Shechtmanites.

A 3-tiered 12-dimensional DNA/RNA so becomes the topologically twisted 3-dimensional DNA/RNA only within its unified state.
Observation of the latter, say via the science of crystallography will always display interference patterns indicative of the hexagonally connected CWWF mode.

The first lifeforms on Gaia were Crystalline replicators, using the fivefolded symmetries of the pentagon. The five Platonic Solids serve as geometrised forms for viruses and microbial biota. From these endosymbiosis connected archae, prokaryotes and eukaryotes and the evolutionary 'living tree' manifested.

The crystalline nonorganic structures carry crystalline awareness, linked to the chiral asymmetries on the subnuclear level of radiaoactivity and the nuclear weak interaction in the violation of CP-Symmetry.

In the DNA/RNA, lefthanded- or L-enantiomated amino acids and righthanded- or dextro-enantiomated sugars so allow differentiation between constituents in the genetic encoding in terms of geometry and associated with 'living' organic entities.
Inorganic molecules without the DNA/RNA experience no MAGNETIC INDUCTION from the Consciousness-Encoding and so do not show a predominant preference for chirality in their structural definitions.

Nature's Leaps are evolutionary nexus points, describable in Jay Gould's 'punctuated equilibria'. The timing for those nexus points are not arbitrary, but depend on the diffusion of 'awareness markers', either of individual 'discoveries' or group-conscious remembrances.

The latter relate to Gaian planetary consciousness in regards to the collective environments and to individual- or group-awarenesses, say as morphogenetic resonances in the Noosphere or the general mental evolutionary plateau embedded in the Gaian consciousness as subsystems."

Intelligent Design Without the Bible by Deepak Chopra

It is disturbing to see that the current debate over evolution has become us-versus-them. To say that Nature displays intelligence doesn't make you a Christian fundamentalist.

Einstein said as much, and a fascinating theory called the anthropic principle has been seriously considered by Stephen Hawking, among others. The anthropic principle tries to understand how a random universe could evolve to produce DNA, and ultimately human intelligence. To say the DNA happened randomly is like saying that a hurricane could blow through a junk yard and produce a jet plane.

It's high time to rescue "intelligent design" from the politics of religion. There are too many riddles not yet answered by either biology or the Bible, and by asking them honestly, without foregone conclusions, science could take a huge leap forward.

If anyone here is interested in placing this debate on a higher plane than us-versus-them, I think the main issues are these:

--- 1. How does nature take creative leaps? In the fossil record there are repeated gaps that no "missing link" can fill. The most glaring is the leap by which inorganic molecules turned into DNA. For billions of years after the Big Bang, no other molecule replicated itself. There is more to DNA, than is apparent in analysing it experimentally.

--- 2. If mutations are random, why does the fossil record demonstrate so many positive mutations -- those that lead to new species -- and so few negative ones? Random chance should produce useless mutations thousands of times more often than positive ones.

    "From the Mayan Annals:

There are no random mutations as such. There is a statistical spread of mutations about an average, and a mean which is defined in increasing the environmental stimuli encountered by an embedded organism to increase its self-awareness. All mutations, even the 'short-lived' ones serve the purpose to provide context for the 'longer lived' ones."

--- 3. How does evolution know where to stop? The pressure to evolve is constant; therefore it is hard to understand why evolution isn't a constant. Yet sharks and turtles and insects have been around for hundreds of millions of years without apparent evolution except to diversify among their kind. These species stopped in place while others, notably hominids, kept evolving with tremendous speed, even though our primate ancestors didn't have to. The many species of monkeys which persist in original form tell us that human evolution, like the shark's, could have ended. Why didn't it?

    "From the Mayan Annals:

There are more than one kind of evolution. The physical evolution is a dynamic evolution from the subatomic to the elemental to the molecular to the crystalline. At the crystalline level the electro-capacitative function begins to dominate in a physical sense and evolves to allow self- and mutual inductions in cross-reference to a magneto-inductive function which is predominantly mental or psychophysical.

When the crystalline capacity for memory retainment has certain saturation levels, then the crystalline form can accomodate magnetic induction of SOURCESINK ENERGY. This can be labeled as a form of LIFE-ENERGY.

This magnetic induction then hybrids the crystalline geometric forms with the psychophysical quantum geometry, which is also based on the pentagonal symmetry and the awareness-triplets of experience-factors. In such manner do crystalline geometries life-induct as primitive forms of viral, bacyterial and microbial classifications.

So whilst physical evolution for a certain geometrical 'species' might reach plateaus of constancy, the mental evolution continues until maximum self-awareness and potential resonance with the SourceSink awareness has been attained."

--- 4. Evolutionary biology is stuck with regard to simultaneous mutations. One kind of primordial skin cell, for example, mutated into scales, fur, and feathers. These are hugely different adaptations, and each is tremendously complex. How could one kind of cell take three different routes purely at random?

    "From the Mayan Annals:

The primeval cell is defined in a master template as a derivative from its subatomic string ancestor. The psychophysical cellular entity is that of a memory processor and carries a 'subconscious' UNIVERSAL MEMORY of its COSMIC Origins embedded within itself.

This ancestor serves as a quantum geometric entity, which allows diversification in regards to the environmental adaptations; albeit under the underpinning peripheral encompassment of the self-awareness of the entity, coloured by its remembrances, either cognisant or instinctual. The interaction of the cell with its environment is a feedback mechanism of its memory, leading to ever greater recall of its origins in the dynamical processing of its experienced information in linear time."

--- 5. If design doesn't imply intelligence, why are we so intelligent? The human body is composed of cells that evolved from one-celled blue-green algae, yet that algae is still around. Why did DNA pursue the path of greater and greater intelligence when it could have perfectly survived in one-celled plants and animals, as in fact
    it did?

    "From the Mayan Annals:

The DNA is the master-code of the UNIVERSAL MEMORY, attempting to REMEMBER ITSELF as the UNITY and ONENESS it was before space and time began."

--- 6. Why do forms replicate themselves without apparent need? The helix or spiral shape found in the shell of the chambered nautilus, the center of sunflowers, spiral galaxies, and DNA itself seems to be such a replication. It is mathematically elegant and appears to be a design that was suited for hundreds of totally unrelated functions in nature.

    "From the Mayan Annals:

The master-code of the DNA uses a bifurcation of the DNA/RNA-template into two halves of 10 Amino Acid codons each.
The Fibonacci pattern of the fivefolded symmetry underpins the entire cosmogenesis from the transformation of superstring classes into each other during inflation and the natural Lamarckian and Darwinian evolution subsequently."

--- 7. What happens when simple molecules come into contact with life? Oxygen is a simple molecule in the atmosphere, but once it enters our lungs, it becomes part of the cellular machinery, and far from wandering about randomly, it precisely joins itself with other simple molecules, and together they perform cellular tasks, such as protein-building, whose precision is millions of times greater than anything else seen in nature. If the oxygen doesn't change physically -- and it doesn't -- what invisible change causes it to acquire intelligence the instant it contacts life?

    "From the Mayan Annals:

The Oxygen molecule is quantum entangled with the entire universe and becomes quantum entangled with a subuniverse, say a human body as soon as it begins to interact with the latter. As the interactions continue, the Oxygen molecule is 'read' by the memory-functions it encounters in its subuniversal environment and forms associations relevant to its own elemental consciousness."

--- 8. How can whole systems appear all at once? The leap from reptile to bird is proven by the fossil record. Yet this apparent step in evolution has many simultaneous parts. It would seem that Nature, to our embarrassment, simply struck upon a good idea, not a simple mutation. If you look at how a bird is constructed, with hollow bones, toes elongated into wing bones, feet adapted to clutching branches instead of running, etc., none of the mutations by themselves give an advantage to survival, but taken altogether, they are a brilliant creative leap. Nature takes such leaps all the time, and our attempt to reduce them to bits of a jigsaw puzzle that just
happened to fall into place to form a beautifully designed picture seems faulty on the face of it. Why do we insist that we are allowed to have brilliant ideas while Nature isn't?

    "From the Mayan Annals:

Indeed, the brilliance of nature is to create the physical adaptations from its genetic templates. So when an environmental adaptation proves 'successful' in some species, the morphogeneticism of this information is simultaneously shared throughout the planetary environment, even the universe in toto.
As everything is holographically and fractally quantum-entangled; two environmental physical adaptations in two different species can manifest simultaneously in a third species."

--- 9. Darwin's iron law was that evolution is linked to survival, but it was long ago pointed out that "survival of the fittest" is a tautology. Some mutations survive, and therefore we call them fittest. Yet there is no obvious reason why the dodo, kiwi, and other flightless birds are more fit; they just survived for a while. DNA
itself isn't fit at all; unlike a molecule of iron or hydrogen, DNA will blow away into dust if left outside on a sunny day or if attacked by pathogens, x-rays, solar radiation, and mutations like cancer. The key to survival is more than fighting to see which organism is fittest.

    "From the Mayan Annals:

All mutations and species, extinct or living at a nexus time serve the purpose for a contextual matrix for the universe, a galaxy, a solar system, a planet, a moon, a continent, a country, a region, a forest, an individual and the subsystems of the individual to evolve concurrently. The separation of all things are both universal and individual.

Just as the galaxies are cells in the body of the universe, so are biological cells 'life units' in the body of a plant or an animal.
There is no survival of the fittest in the overall scheme of things. But just as the recycling of biosomatic material, like skin and membrane and waste matter is part of the equilibria conditions in an animal body, so it is for a planetary body or a galactic body or a universal body.
The survival of the physically fittest in physical evolution becomes supplemented by a survival of the fittest in a mental evolution, once higher levels of self-awareness and source remembrances have been attained by the indiviuated being."

--- 10. Competition itself is suspect, for we see just as many examples in Nature of cooperation. Bees cooperate, obviously, to the point that when a honey bee stings an enemy, it acts to save the whole hive. At the moment of stinging, a honeybee dies. In what way is this a survival mechanism, given that the bee doesn't survive at all? For that matter, since a mutation can only survive by breeding -- "survival" is basically a simplified term for passing along gene mutations from one generation to the next -- how did bees develop drones in the hive, that is, bees who cannot and never do have sex?

    "From the Mayan Annals:

The beehive exhibits group-awareness of the bee species. This group-consciousness attunes individuation of singlular or grouped bees to its encompassing purposes, say as embodied in the Family of the Queen Bee. This Beehive consciousness manifests the electro-capacitative and 'instinctive' nature for the Bee-Intelligence. The magneto-inductive nature for the Bee-Intelligence is 'missing' in many species which exhibit group-awareness and suppress the individuated self-awareness.

The 'missing' sentience, is then found elsewhere in the universe to reestablish the overall equilibria required to define the Bee-Intelligence as part of the universal overbody. This alien Bee-Intelligence then will have the 'instinctual' beehive nature missing in its programmed self expressionism.

The droned bees are bees, which have assumed a particular genetic subset of the master-template, which restricts sexual self-expression and as part of the beehive mapping its grouped selfdefinition, so structured."

--- 11. How did symbiotic cooperation develop? Certain flowers, for example, require exactly one kind of insect to pollinate them. A flower might have a very deep calyx, or throat, for example than only an insect with a tremendously long tongue can reach. Both these adaptations are very complex, and they serve no outside use. Nature was getting along very well without this symbiosis, as evident in the thousands of flowers and insects that persist without it. So how did numerous generations pass this symbiosis along if it is so specialized?

    "From the Mayan Annals:

The universe is a Unity, with all parts quantum entangled with all other parts. This can be termed the Standing Wave of the Unified Field, processing its Self-Information by and through its kaleidoscope of subsystems and in a holographic enfolding of its information. This information then is stored as superconscious memory in the sentient organisms and can surface in subconsciousness and in waking consciousness.

The universe is also Self-defined and constructed on Natural Laws and Principles. One such principle demands expansion and diversification. So when a symbiotic partnership between one or different species, say a bacterium and a virus or a rhinoceros and a mynah bird, has developed; then the natural tendency for the universe is to enhance and multiply this symbiosis in subsystems or fractals.

Say in the case of the rhinoceros and the mynah bird picking its lice; there will be symbiosis between another mynah bird or another species picking the bird lice of the mynah bird and so on, provided environmental adaptation accomodates this fractalisation."

--- 12. Finally, why are life forms beautiful? Beauty is everywhere in Nature, yet it serves no obvious purpose. Once a bird of paradise has evolved its incredibly gorgeous plumage, we can say that it is useful to attract mates. But doesn't it also attract predators, for we simultaneously say that camouflaged creatures like the chameleon survive by not being conspicuous. In other words, exact opposites are rationalized by the same logic. This is no logic at all. Non-beautiful creatures have survived for millions of years, so have gorgeous ones. The notion that this is random seems weak on the face of it.

    "From the Mayan Annals:

The environmental adaptations of species are often multifaceted. Whilst mimicry and camouflage provide survival value, extraordinary conspicuousness can ensure reproductionary success. There are environmental variables which allow conspicuousness in the absence of predators utilising that conspicuousness to their advantage."

I don't know who will bother to read all these points, which I have had to truncate. But if you think the answers are in safe hands among the ranks of evolutionary biologists, think again. No credible scientific theory has answered these dilemmas, and progress is being discouraged, I imagine, thanks to fundamentalist Christians. By
hijacking the whole notion of intelligent design, they have tarred genuine scientific issues with the stain of religious prejudice.

Rescuing Intelligent Design -- But from whom?

...... both "secular humanists" and fundamentalist become extremely emotional when the debate on evolution is brought up.

However, new ideas are attacked with emotional vehemence some times and then turn out to be right. Darwin was a classic example in his day, but recently one only has to review the ridicule that greeted three novel ideas:

    1. We live in an expanding universe. Einstein himself disbelieved that one.

    2. Birds are direct descendants of dinosaurs and therefore dinosaurs were probably warm-blooded.

    3. A major cataclysm, such as a massive meteor strike, destroyed the dinosaurs practically overnight. These ideas have gone through the whole cycle from derisory attack to general acceptance.

If you are opposing my comments with passionate vehemence, I'd suggest that you are not friendly to the open discussion of evolution, no matter which camp you belong to.

As for those who cite Richard Dawkins as holy writ, may I point to his heated debates with Stephen Jay Gould, an equally reputable theorist of evolution? May I further point out that evolutionary biology has been considered dubious by a wide range of scientists (they criticize it for having a weak experimental foundation and a
wealth of assumptions that seem like post hoc thinking--that is, a trait is given a rationale only after it survives, which is like saying that driving a Mercedes Benz makes you wealthy, as opposed to saying that wealthy people tend to buy Mercedes Benz) and current evolutionary theory in general can't be proved experimentally. If
tempers can settle a bit, I'd like to pursue this discussion further.
Evolutionary theory is very much up in the air.

Current news stories make it seem that "intelligent design" is non-scientific piffle, motivated by ulterior motives to preserve God and Jesus in the face of Darwin. Yet design and intelligence are far from that. We find ourselves in a period of fascinating transition.
Darwinian evolution has proved an enormously fruitful theory, but like all theories its weaknesses have showed up over time. Darwin did not know that genes existed, a gap repaired by Gregor Mendel. In an earlier post I pointed out 12 other gaps that still need repairing. I hope you consult them before reading on.

A new evolutionary theory, should it arise, would have to begin with quantum physics. Biology is simply physics taken to unbelievably complicated lengths. In a physics lab one can experiment with oxygen atoms in isolation. Inside a cell, the same oxygen is beyond experimentation. We can only think about its complex reactions and
then ask ourselves if our speculations answer questions better than older speculations. Theoretical physics proceeds exactly along the same lines--first Einstein dreamed up relativity, then he put it into mathematical language, and finally he matched the math against real phenomena. He tells us that he was amazed when Nature turned out to agree with his original dream.

    From the Mayan Annals:

"Man know thyself, then will you know the universe and God." ---Pythagoras, 529 BC.

"The history of science is the science itself." ---Johann Wolfgang von Goethe, 1800.

"Imagination is more important than knowledge."

"Science without religion is lame and religion without science is blind."

"God does not play dice with the world."

"Abstract thought can grasp reality, as the ancients dreamed." ---Albert Einstein, 1929"

The raw facts in this case are simple, insofar as cosmology has anything simple about it: Nature evolves. Rudimentary forms become more complex. The war between chaos and orderliness is never won by either side. They coexist. To a physicist, life is "negative entropy," that is, an exception to a universal rule. Entropy, the
tendency for energy to disperse, is the basic rule in the universe.
When any system can preserve energy instead, it stands out as an "island" of negative entropy. (consult Erwin Schrodinger's paper, "What Is Life?" which is readily available on the Web.)

You and I are such islands, and there is no reason on the face of it why we don't blow away and disperse in waves of radiating heat the way a rock cools off after a hot day, the same way a star eventually expends its heat and dies.

The force which apparently preserves negative entropy is one chief aspect of evolution. Evolution is the enemy of energy dispersion, or "fast decay," to use a favored term from physics. It keeps energy intact for long periods of time--say, billions of years in the case of life on Earth. Evolution has even found ways to gain new energy,
for example, when creatures eat and drink. We probably have to grant that evolution isn't accidental. Of course there is huge debate over this, but setting all prejudice aside, the simple fact is that the universe could have remained an inchoate mass of heated gases moving relentlessly toward their fate of becoming cool gases. The universe took another route, one which involves negative entropy.

The very same basic atoms of oxygen, hydrogen, carbon, and nitrogen that float in interstellar space took the alternate route of evolving into the building blocks of life. Physics cannot explain this simultaneity of entropy and its opposite without tentative recourse to the notion that something like design is at work. Until physics
can explain apparent design and why entropy developed evolution as its enemy when there was no need to, biology is helpless to explain life, since there is no such thing as Darwinian "survival of the fittest" among atoms. All atoms survive unless they undergo thermonuclear change inside stars or devolve through proton decay.
There is no such thing as competition among atoms, because atoms are not sentient and have no needs to compete over.

There is no such thing as passing a trait along to the next generation of atoms, since atoms don't have sex or reproduce except as individuals (one must make exceptions for cooperative structures like crystals, which is why the physics of crystals has traditionally come closet to theorizing how DNA came to be).

Physics is an experimental science, and there are few workers in the profession who think about the origins of life, except as speculation, since there aren't many viable experiments to run. True, some researchers have done rudimentary experiments with the early components of the Earth's atmosphere, such as methane gas, to see if
the addition of electricity (to imitate lightning storms) might give us a model for the "primordial soup" out of which life emerged. But this is far, far from an experiment which could show us how DNA learned to replicate itself. The theory that DNA was brought to Earth via asteroids from elsewhere in space merely sidesteps the whole
    question.

Since physics doesn't need a theory of life to go forward with its main research, most of which is on the quantum level, biology has been given a faulty, indeed nonexistent theory to build upon.

Darwin's theory of evolution is ten or twenty steps higher than subatomic physics on the chain of knowledge, and Darwin jumped aboard without any of the previous steps being filled in. So it's a wonder that Darwinism succeeded. To skip so many steps of explanation and still turn out to be right is astonishing. Medicine hasn't been so lucky. For hundreds of years its explanations of mental disorders, for example, were totally faulty until the recent discovery of basic chemical imbalances in the brain, and those discoveries in turn depended on the discovery of neurotransmitters like dopamine and serotonin. Until basic mechanisms were uncovered at the molecular level, explanations for psychosis on the macro level (the level of behavior, speech, and thinking) had no basis.

What we need, therefore, is an explanation that can fill in the missing steps that Darwin leapt over.

Hundreds of theorists have seriously worked at this problem, well outside the current debate ignited by religionists who demand that Genesis must be defended. Here are some leading principles that I personally support:

    1. Intelligence doesn't "appear" at a late stage of evolution. It seems to be inherent in nature.

    "From the Mayan Annals:

The intelligence you speak of is OLDER than the material Universe.

It EXISTS Before the Big Bang as the PREENERGY of the MATHIMATIA.

IT is PURE IMAGINATION, yet intelligent and infinite in its POTENTIAL.

To HAVE a material universe, finding ITSELF at some linear nexus point of NOW; the END of this linear universe had to BECOME DEFINED BEFORE its very BEGINNING.

So the UNIVERSE IN TIME MUST END before it BEGINS.

Then the 'Little Superstring' in the 2nd dimension and rooted in the 11th PROJECTS itself from the NOTIME into NOWTIME and at ANY ARBITRARY NEXUS POINT in linear time; a THEN EXISTING MATERIAL UNIVERSE is used by the INHERENT INTELLIGENCE to REDEFINE its own creator, as the LOVEDRAGON aka the 'Little Serpentine Superstring."

    2. Before there is intelligence in action, there is the potential for
intelligence. This must precede the Big Bang and still exists at a
    subtle level of Nature.

    "From the Mayan Annals:

Absolutely, the Universe is ONE HOLOGRAM, ONE 11-dimensional Black Hole, BOUNDED asymptotically in the 3rd and the 10th dimension; and yet UNBOUNDED in terms of its cyclic nodal nature in the 11th dimension and its potential multidimensional extent using the 3-dimensional as a seedling PROTOVERSE.
Everything is made of vibrating superstrings, whose parameters define the minimum metric of physicality and measurement.

The self-definition of the Source-Superstring is PREENERGY at the core of all of nature's Levels as a core- and universal memory."

    3. The primary evidence for intelligence in the universe isn't design
but consciousness. In some mysterious way Nature knows what it is
    doing.

    "From the Mayan Annals:

Absolutely, the 2/11-dimensional superstring is aware of everything and awaits a potential redefinition of himself by himself. After a particular nexus point in the linear unfoldment of time has been reached, the Him will become a HIMHER and the twosided superstring-duality will become redefined as a onesided superstring modality. And this redefinition will have been created by the created superstring carriers in the 3-dimensional universe as a 'higher dimensional' universe relative to the superstring of the MATHIMATIA of the complex plane."

    4. Chaos and orderliness coexist, one being necessary for the other.

    "From the Mayan Annals:

This is the 3rd Principle of the Mayan Cosmogenesis: 3. Order and Disorder; Negentropy and Entropy!"

    5. Evolution manipulates chaos the way an artist manipulates paint, to turn basic ingredients into complex forms.

    "From the Mayan Annals:

Indeed, Evolution, both Darwinian and Lamarckian in tandem, apply the principle of Order as EVOLUTION-PRESSURE to counteract the thermodynamic entropy of the linear time-arrow."

    6. Consciousness may exist in photons, which seem to be the carrier of all information in the universe.

    "From the Mayan Annals:

There are two kinds of photons; the inertia-produced ones and the sourcesink gauge-interaction ones.
The inertia-photons are produced by accelerated inertia carriers such as fusion protons in the sun emitting electromagnetic radiation.
As the protons have mass and carry COULOMB-CHARGE, the emitted photons are massproduced and carry no COLOUR-CHARGE or magnetocharge.
The gauge-photons are transformed bosonic superstrings and are produced by the acceleration of COLOUR-CHARGES of massless superstrings and the gage-photons do carry COLOUR-CHARGE.

The acceleration of COLOUR-CHARGE represents the AWARENESS function in psychophysical terminology and this AWARENESS ACTS on any collection of superstring spacetime quanta as a magnified or holographic superstring VOLUMAR.
The Product of Awareness and the Volumar defines the COLOUR-CHARGE in the form of INVERSE SOURCESINK ENERGY in a physical quantity of the STAR-COULOMB and as the UNIT for Physical Consciousness."

    7. The creative principle is eternal.

    "From the Mayan Annals:

The Creator in a lower dimension creates himself in the higher Creation and in a Broken SuperSymmetry for the purpose to Recreate himself in the lower dimension from the vantage point of the higher dimension."
Using these as working principles, we might make tremendous progress in explaining the missing gaps in evolutionary theory. But will we? I don't know, since too few minds are occupied in such theorizing. But the notion of intelligent design will surely survive, because the greatest project of all -- explaining the existence of human intelligence -- is never going to go away.

Current religious opinion is a blip on the screen compared to the centuries-long quest to understand ourselves, and although current science is more fruitful and valid, it too is only a passing phase.

The Maya understands both the utter simplicity and the intricacies of the encompassing cosmology of the uncreated creator of the creation becoming created from the creation and as the solution of the Chicken-Egg paradox.

However the second video, whilst certainly appropriate in its generality; carries a 'deceptive carrot' in its association with the stated website alcione associations and http://www.giantredplanet.com/

The words and works of Manly P. One particular such 'school of thought' is the 'creator' behind the alcione association website, which, as can be seen is 'infiltrating' the Thuban data sharing and as indicated by the avatars of 'We are You'; 'Higher Love' and 'Owlsden'; and three avatars referring to only two personas on this forum.

The contra indication as to regards to human- and starhuman sexuality (say as in the stigmatisation of sexual orgasm as lifeforce depleting and impure for the achievement of sexual alchemy in the 'higher love dimensions') has been indicated by me before; but allow me to excerpt some of the 'antisex guru' foundations of http://www.giantredplanet.com/ and its, in Thuban referential terms, highly antithetical premises.

Samael Aun Weor, you heard of this dude?

So yeah. My co-worker asked me to watch this video "SEX: The Secret Gate to Eden".

And it kinda made me want to die a little. My problem was with the weird scholarship mostly, much I couldn't confirm because it seemed to relate to the Gnosticism & the Kabbalah (of which I know nothing). But how the symbols were discussed... and, well... basically according to this video having an orgasm is a route to original sin. In fact that's what eating the apple off of the tree of knowledge did, we got a big XXX O from it, and from that apparently we got the 7 deadly sins (which I thought were written by Pope Gregory I).

The group who put out this video is http://gnosticteachings.org/ (the 'about this video' suggested I donate some cash to them). Samael Aun Weor wrote many books. From what info I can glean in admittedly a short period of time, is dude seemed to be all about the sex magic, but thought the orgasm was super-bad for spiritual enlightenment. Screw all you want, but don't have your big arrival... btw he says we can procreate without having an orgasm. How can a dude make the semen without it? (aside from milking, btw link isn't safe for work, or super-prudes).

Anyway, I haven't been able to find much criticism about this guy or the group... mostly what I've found is followers extolling it's virtues. Most I found was this forum. According to one person, the reason why there is little criticism is because the books were only fairly recently translated into English (dude did most of his work in Mexico).

So anybody here heard of this guy? Thoughts? Criticisms? Snide Remarks? Rude Gestures?

    Love em all, bring it!

I am able to think like a Christian...so I say this Guy is committing blasphemy against the Lord. Primates can have orgasms as well if I remember correctly, and science found out that an orgasm provides not only the brain but the body with tension release and relaxation (which is why some recommend it against migraine or depression, to my mild dismay). Repeating all the common knowledge is futile, everyone knows -.-

One thing I really dislike about Christians is that they spend far too much time obsessing over sex. I do not wish to waste time on sex obsessed Christians.

Yes and it's usually obsessing over Other peoples sex lives.
I have to admitt that I will probably not look at any of these links, because, well this dude just sounds twisted up inside, and it will only piss me off, so why bother? But sadly, this isn't anything new, from the very begining, the christian stance on sex has been negative, portraying sex as dirty, wrong, and of course sinful, too bad, I can think of a few christians that could really use a good lay.

I heard of this dude before, but never studied any of his works. I find it very bizarre that he is so into sex magic but believes the orgasm is counterproductive to all that. It makes no sense.

Even the Taoists and the Tantrics appreciate the value of a good old-fashioned orgasm...they seem to teach ways to have more of them and more intense ones when we do. And for men, orgasm does not always need to be about ejaculation. It does seem better to put that off for as long as possible. I am of the opinion that sex has been around long enough so that we should spend more time deriving a deeper understanding from what has already been studied and written about it, rather than wasting our time trying to coming up with something new as if it might not have been discovered before now.

I found this post via a google search and I just wanted to share my point of view...

It seems that some think that this type of system is only related with Christianity. It is not. The reason pagans were so easily converted to Christianity was because they held so many similar moral codes.

Lets first take a look at the word Magic itself. Magic comes from Magi, or Magos (greek), meaning "learned one," "wise man," or "priest." A Magi, or a real Magician, is a the same as a Priest. Magical acts, then, are priestly acts.

Sex of course always has something to do with the Priestly caste of any ancient civilization. Manly P. Hall (referencing Eliphas Levi) in his Secret Teachings of All Ages states in relationship to the Druidic Mysteries:

Eliphas Levi, the celebrated transcendentalist, makes the following significant statement: "The Druids were priests and physicians, curing by magnetism and charging amylets with their fluidic influence..." [...]

Eliphas Levi states that the Druids lived in strict abstinence, studied the natural sciences, preserved the deepest secrecy, and admitted new members only after long probationary periods. Many of the priests of the order lived in buildings not unlike the monasteries of the modern world. They were associated in groups like ascetics of the Far East. Although celibacy was not demanded of them, few married. Many of the Druids retired from the world and lived as recluses in caves, in rough-stone houses, or in little shacks built in the depths of a forest. Here they prayed and meditated, emerging only to perform their religious duties. [...]

Like nearly all schools of the Mysteries, the teachings of the Druids were divided into two distinct sections. The simpler, a moral code, was taught to all the people, while the deeper, esoteric doctrine was given only to initiated priests. To be admitted to the order, a candidate was required to be of good family and of high moral character. No important secrets were entrusted to him until he had been tempted in many ways and his strength of character severely tried.

So one can argue, and I would agree, that the idea of retaining the sexual nature is not founded in Christianity, but rather that it is as old as religion itself. There was always two basic doctrines, the exoteric or outer doctrine, and the esoteric or inner doctrine. The resounds in every religion. The outer aspect always taught basic beliefs and practices. But the real meat of any doctrine was always its secret aspect that was only revealed to those initiated into them. And it is only here, in the esoteric aspect, that the true reason for sexual purity is taught.

And what exactly is the foundation of Magic, according to again Mr. Hall and Eliphas Levi?

The practice of magic--either white or black--depends upon the ability of the adept to control the universal life force--that which Eliphas Levi calls the great magical agent or the astral light. By the manipulation of this fluidic essence the phenomena of transcendentalism are produced. The famous hermaphroditic Goat of Mendes was a composite creature formulated to symbolize this astral light. It is identical with Baphomet the mystic pantheos of those disciples of ceremonial magic, the Templars, who probably obtained it from the Arabians.

This Life Force, a fluidic essence, is precisely the sexual energy in man and woman. Sexual energy is indeed the origin of any successful magical practice. Yet, there are two fundamental ways to produce magical phenomena:, through the ascension or the descension of sexual energy. The orgasm is the ejection of both the physical and subtle forms of sexual energy out of the organism and out of the emotional and mental essence of the individual into the greater currents of Nature. Although, when combined with certain procedures, this can awaken the mind, it does so by further attaching it to the currents of Nature. This, in turn means one becomes a serf or slave to the mechanical evolution and devolution of energy that is Nature. (This is symbolized by the Egyptians enslaving the Jews.)

All currents of Nature return to their source in an endless cycle: evolution always ends in devolution. Birth always leads to death. The seed is planted in the soil, grows out of the soil, is consumed by the animals of nature and is returned back into the soil. Nature always works within itself, never beyond itself. The Creator created Nature to self-sustain itself, yet it is an obstacle for the one who wants to become a Master of Nature, a King of the Earth. Of course, the sexual energy is the condensation of our blood. Our blood is created by the liquid (water), solid (food), and gaseous (air) nutrition that Nature provides. Out of our blood, the hormones, semen and other sexual energy is created, so, from a biological standpoint this energy is very expensive to produce, and from an energetic aspect, very powerful. In fact, it is the most powerful energy in man. Now because it all comes from Nature, Nature wants it to be returned, and it usually is. The sexual impulse in man and woman is so powerful they cannot resist, and are always compelled to return their creative forces back into the larger currents of Nature (orgasm). This however is inconvenient for the ascension of the soul, because any mind or soul that is attached to these mechanical currents (which is basically everyone in the world) will eventually find themselves devolving in the Inferno, or Hell. This of course is very painful (the more attached, the more pain). It does end however, with the soul being purified of all desire, and eventually re-evolving back into a human again.

Anyway, the point is, this form of magic (using the descension of sexual energy), in the end, is not good for the soul, and even though certain physical or metaphysical things can be achieved through this method, it is nevertheless what what Manly P. Hall and Eliphas Levi would call Black Magic.

Now we can better understand what it means to apply one's fluidic influence upon an amulet or person in order to cure them, and why any Priest, Monk, Rabbi, or holy man needs to take care of his fluidic life force. For example, the Priest in a Christian Church performs the Eucharist, which is magical act. The Priest is responsible for taking the Christic forces from above and placing them in the bread and wine, but if the Priest does not have a magnetic-fluidic force vibrating within his own blood, then the forces from above will not be attracted into the Bread and Wine. Of course, today, no one in the Church knows these things. They do not know anything about the power of sex. They only know about repression. The fact that the Church has been rocked with sexual scandal proves that they know nothing about these matters. The Church has forgotten how to work with the sexual energy.

The basis of White Magic, then, is the transmutation of sexual energy. This is done in many different ways, but best way to to sexually unite but refrain from the orgasm or any type of fluidic or energetic loss. From a physical standpoint, this provides the blood with enormous enrichment especially for the brain and the pineal glad. From the standpoint of the soul, a redirection of the flow of creative-sexual energy begins. Instead of going down and out, it ascends upwards and makes contact with the higher or superior archetypes of the soul and begins to fertilize all the latent aspects of it. By transforming the octave of energy, the creative energy ascends back to its origin, to the Creator itself. By doing this, an active connection is found between God and Man. This is how the rebinding or reunion occurs (religion means "to fuse together")

If you want to know the truth behind the Old Testiment, you have to learn Hebrew alphabet and study the Zohar, which says: The narratives of the Doctrine are its cloak. The simple look only at the garment - that is, upon the narrative of the Doctrine; more they know not. The instructed, however, see not merely the cloak, but what the cloak covers. – The Zohar, iii. The story of Genesis is about the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil. If you read Genesis, you will see that "to know" mean to have sex. (Adam knew Even and bore Cain.) So, the Tree of Knowledge is related with sex. The story of Genesis, Creation, is a symbolic story dealing with the creative, or sexual, energy.

The Seven Deadly sins are related with the seven aspects of the soul, the seven basic archetypes of the soul that are put into activity in a negative way. Seven, in kabbalastic terms, is Malkuth, Yesod, Hod, Netzach, Tiphereth, Chesed, and Geburah. Those aspects and be developed in a negative way (called by Christians the seven deadly sins) or a positive way.

With sexual magic, one needs to learn how to handle the sexual energy, which doesn't mean they can screw all they want. :) A lifetime of this type of sexual magic means that one can be easily be 70 or 80 and still be very sexually potent, without the need for Viagra. Instead, we have men barely 40 who have problems with erections precisely because they have lost all their sexual potency. The method the Samael Aun Weor provides a way have a very healthy body and brain into old age, while also providing natural birth control, and of course, a development of the soul which is experienced directly in day to day living.

Semen is produced prior to orgasm. A single sperm can escape and reach the ovum without ejaculation. This type of sperm would be very strong, very healthy and produce a child with very good genes. To conceive without the orgasm is very possible and is one of the meanings behind Virginal Birth. :)

This is the first I've heard of this, did you read this somewhere or come up with it yourself? Either way, I'm interested in knowing which "sin" corresponds to which sphere.

Reply by philadelphos on December 21, 2009 at 8:31pm
I was speaking in synthesis there a bit actually. What I mean is, we can place correspondences of any number upon the Being. The whole tree of life is the Being, which can be divided into 3, 7, 12, 24, etc.

According to Dante Alighieri's Divine Comedy, he explains the seven sins through the Circles II - VIII of Hell. The Nine Circles of Hell are the Nine Klipothic Sephiroth, but Dante's correlations are better understood as the correspondences between two of Klipothic sephoroth, because he reserves the first circle to limbo, and the second circle to lust. Lust is obviously Yesod (if we place the tree of life over the image of a man, Yesod covers the sex).

So, using that as a guide we would say:

    Lust - Klipothic Malkuth-Yesod - 2nd Circle
    Gluttony - Klipothic Yesod-Hod - 3rd Circle
    Greed - Klipothic Hod-Netzach - 4th Circle
    Spiritual Negligence - Klipothic Netzach-Tiphereth - 5th Circle
    Wrath - Klipothic Tiphereth-Geburah - 6th Circle
    Envy - Klipothic Geburah-Chesed - 7th Circle
    Pride - Klipothic Chesed-Binah - 8th Circle

The names of each sin, of course, have changed. It is not the name of each sin which important, it is the principle behind it. The Seven Sins are the seven head of the dragon of darkness in the Book of Revelation, the Seven Demons that Jesus drove out of Mary, etc., etc.

The Seven Devils and Sins (Ignorances) and Husbands and Lovers (androgenous Virgins in mentality and not physicality and coupled to the Contact from Dragon Spacetime) of the New World as decoded by Thuban 101

Revelation 14:1-7 - King James Version (KJV)

1And I looked, and, lo, a Lamb stood on the mount Sion, and with him an hundred forty and four thousand, having his Father's name written in their foreheads.
2And I heard a voice from heaven, as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of a great thunder: and I heard the voice of harpers harping with their harps:
3And they sung as it were a new song before the throne, and before the four beasts, and the elders: and no man could learn that song but the hundred and forty and four thousand, which were redeemed from the earth.
4These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth. These were redeemed from among men, being the firstfruits unto God and to the Lamb.
5And in their mouth was found no guile: for they are without fault before the throne of God.
6And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people,
7Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.

    Revelation 9:14-15

13And the sixth angel sounded, and I heard a voice from the four horns of the golden altar which is before God,
14Saying to the sixth angel which had the trumpet, Loose the four angels which are bound in the great river Euphrates.
15And the four angels were loosed, which were prepared for an hour, and a day, and a month, and a year, for to slay the third part of men.
16And the number of the army of the horsemen were two hundred thousand thousand: and I heard the number of them.

    Daniel 7:9-11

9I beheld till the thrones were cast down, and the Ancient of days did sit, whose garment was white as snow, and the hair of his head like the pure wool: his throne was like the fiery flame, and his wheels as burning fire.
10A fiery stream issued and came forth from before him: thousand thousands ministered unto him, and ten thousand times ten thousand stood before him: the judgment was set, and the books were opened.
11I beheld then because of the voice of the great words which the horn spake: I beheld even till the beast was slain, and his body destroyed, and given to the burning flame.

John 4:17-19 - King James Version (KJV)

17The woman answered and said, I have no husband. Jesus said unto her, Thou hast well said, I have no husband:
18For thou hast had five husbands; and he whom thou now hast is not thy husband: in that saidst thou truly.
19The woman saith unto him, Sir, I perceive that thou art a prophet.

    Luke 20

1And it came to pass, that on one of those days, as he taught the people in the temple, and preached the gospel, the chief priests and the scribes came upon him with the elders,
2And spake unto him, saying, Tell us, by what authority doest thou these things? or who is he that gave thee this authority?
3And he answered and said unto them, I will also ask you one thing; and answer me:
4The baptism of John, was it from heaven, or of men?
5And they reasoned with themselves, saying, If we shall say, From heaven; he will say, Why then believed ye him not?
6But and if we say, Of men; all the people will stone us: for they be persuaded that John was a prophet.
7And they answered, that they could not tell whence it was.
8And Jesus said unto them, Neither tell I you by what authority I do these things.
9Then began he to speak to the people this parable; A certain man planted a vineyard, and let it forth to husbandmen, and went into a far country for a long time.
10And at the season he sent a servant to the husbandmen, that they should give him of the fruit of the vineyard: but the husbandmen beat him, and sent him away empty.
11And again he sent another servant: and they beat him also, and entreated him shamefully, and sent him away empty.
12And again he sent a third: and they wounded him also, and cast him out.
13Then said the lord of the vineyard, What shall I do? I will send my beloved son: it may be they will reverence him when they see him.
14But when the husbandmen saw him, they reasoned among themselves, saying, This is the heir: come, let us kill him, that the inheritance may be ours.
15So they cast him out of the vineyard, and killed him. What therefore shall the lord of the vineyard do unto them?
16He shall come and destroy these husbandmen, and shall give the vineyard to others. And when they heard it, they said, God forbid.
17And he beheld them, and said, What is this then that is written, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner?
18Whosoever shall fall upon that stone shall be broken; but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder.
19And the chief priests and the scribes the same hour sought to lay hands on him; and they feared the people: for they perceived that he had spoken this parable against them.
20And they watched him, and sent forth spies, which should feign themselves just men, that they might take hold of his words, that so they might deliver him unto the power and authority of the governor.
21And they asked him, saying, Master, we know that thou sayest and teachest rightly, neither acceptest thou the person of any, but teachest the way of God truly:
22Is it lawful for us to give tribute unto Caesar, or no?
23But he perceived their craftiness, and said unto them, Why tempt ye me?
24Shew me a penny. Whose image and superscription hath it? They answered and said, Caesar's.
25And he said unto them, Render therefore unto Caesar the things which be Caesar's, and unto God the things which be God's.
26And they could not take hold of his words before the people: and they marvelled at his answer, and held their peace.
27Then came to him certain of the Sadducees, which deny that there is any resurrection; and they asked him,
28Saying, Master, Moses wrote unto us, If any man's brother die, having a wife, and he die without children, that his brother should take his wife, and raise up seed unto his brother.
29There were therefore seven brethren: and the first took a wife, and died without children.
30And the second took her to wife, and he died childless.
31And the third took her; and in like manner the seven also: and they left no children, and died.
32Last of all the woman died also.
33Therefore in the resurrection whose wife of them is she? for seven had her to wife.
34And Jesus answering said unto them, The children of this world marry, and are given in marriage:
35But they which shall be accounted worthy to obtain that world, and the resurrection from the dead, neither marry, nor are given in marriage:
36Neither can they die any more: for they are equal unto the angels; and are the children of God, being the children of the resurrection.
37Now that the dead are raised, even Moses shewed at the bush, when he calleth the Lord the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.
38For he is not a God of the dead, but of the living: for all live unto him.

39Then certain of the scribes answering said, Master, thou hast well said.
40And after that they durst not ask him any question at all.
41And he said unto them, How say they that Christ is David's son?
42And David himself saith in the book of Psalms, The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand,
43Till I make thine enemies thy footstool.
44David therefore calleth him Lord, how is he then his son?
45Then in the audience of all the people he said unto his disciples,
    46Beware of the scribes, which desire to walk in long robes, and love greetings in the markets, and the highest seats in the synagogues, and the chief rooms at feasts;
47Which devour widows' houses, and for a shew make long prayers: the same shall receive greater damnation.

    Luke 8

1And it came to pass afterward, that he went throughout every city and village, preaching and shewing the glad tidings of the kingdom of God: and the twelve were with him,
2And certain women, which had been healed of evil spirits and infirmities, Mary called Magdalene, out of whom went seven devils,
3And Joanna the wife of Chuza Herod's steward, and Susanna, and many others, which ministered unto him of their substance.

Mark 16:8-10 King James Version (KJV)

8And they went out quickly, and fled from the sepulchre; for they trembled and were amazed: neither said they any thing to any man; for they were afraid.
9Now when Jesus was risen early the first day of the week, he appeared first to Mary Magdalene, out of whom he had cast seven devils.
10And she went and told them that had been with him, as they mourned and wept.

    Matthew 12

1At that time Jesus went on the sabbath day through the corn; and his disciples were an hungred, and began to pluck the ears of corn and to eat.
2But when the Pharisees saw it, they said unto him, Behold, thy disciples do that which is not lawful to do upon the sabbath day.
    3But he said unto them, Have ye not read what David did, when he was an hungred, and they that were with him;
4How he entered into the house of God, and did eat the shewbread, which was not lawful for him to eat, neither for them which were with him, but only for the priests?
5Or have ye not read in the law, how that on the sabbath days the priests in the temple profane the sabbath, and are blameless?
6But I say unto you, That in this place is one greater than the temple.
7But if ye had known what this meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice, ye would not have condemned the guiltless.
8For the Son of man is Lord even of the sabbath day.
9And when he was departed thence, he went into their synagogue:
10And, behold, there was a man which had his hand withered. And they asked him, saying, Is it lawful to heal on the sabbath days? that they might accuse him.
11And he said unto them, What man shall there be among you, that shall have one sheep, and if it fall into a pit on the sabbath day, will he not lay hold on it, and lift it out?
12How much then is a man better than a sheep? Wherefore it is lawful to do well on the sabbath days.
13Then saith he to the man, Stretch forth thine hand. And he stretched it forth; and it was restored whole, like as the other.
14Then the Pharisees went out, and held a council against him, how they might destroy him.
    15But when Jesus knew it, he withdrew himself from thence: and great multitudes followed him, and he healed them all;
16And charged them that they should not make him known:
17That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying,
18Behold my servant, whom I have chosen; my beloved, in whom my soul is well pleased: I will put my spirit upon him, and he shall shew judgment to the Gentiles.
19He shall not strive, nor cry; neither shall any man hear his voice in the streets.
20A bruised reed shall he not break, and smoking flax shall he not quench, till he send forth judgment unto victory.
21And in his name shall the Gentiles trust.
22Then was brought unto him one possessed with a devil, blind, and dumb: and he healed him, insomuch that the blind and dumb both spake and saw.
23And all the people were amazed, and said, Is not this the son of David?
24But when the Pharisees heard it, they said, This fellow doth not cast out devils, but by Beelzebub the prince of the devils.
25And Jesus knew their thoughts, and said unto them, Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and every city or house divided against itself shall not stand:
26And if Satan cast out Satan, he is divided against himself; how shall then his kingdom stand?
27And if I by Beelzebub cast out devils, by whom do your children cast them out? therefore they shall be your judges.
28But if I cast out devils by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God is come unto you.
29Or else how can one enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he first bind the strong man? and then he will spoil his house.
30He that is not with me is against me; and he that gathereth not with me scattereth abroad.
31Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men.
32And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come.
33Either make the tree good, and his fruit good; or else make the tree corrupt, and his fruit corrupt: for the tree is known by his fruit.
34O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh.
35A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things.
36But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.
37For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.
38Then certain of the scribes and of the Pharisees answered, saying, Master, we would see a sign from thee.
39But he answered and said unto them, An evil and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given to it, but the sign of the prophet Jonas:
40For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.
41The men of Nineveh shall rise in judgment with this generation, and shall condemn it: because they repented at the preaching of Jonas; and, behold, a greater than Jonas is here.
42The queen of the south shall rise up in the judgment with this generation, and shall condemn it: for she came from the uttermost parts of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon; and, behold, a greater than Solomon is here.
43When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest, and findeth none.
44Then he saith, I will return into my house from whence I came out; and when he is come, he findeth it empty, swept, and garnished.
45Then goeth he, and taketh with himself seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter in and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first. Even so shall it be also unto this wicked generation.
46While he yet talked to the people, behold, his mother and his brethren stood without, desiring to speak with him.
47Then one said unto him, Behold, thy mother and thy brethren stand without, desiring to speak with thee.
48But he answered and said unto him that told him, Who is my mother? and who are my brethren?
49And he stretched forth his hand toward his disciples, and said, Behold my mother and my brethren!
50For whosoever shall do the will of my Father which is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother.

    Mark 8:18-20
    King James Version (KJV)

18Having eyes, see ye not? and having ears, hear ye not? and do ye not remember?
19When I brake the five loaves among five thousand, how many baskets full of fragments took ye up? They say unto him, Twelve.
20And when the seven among four thousand, how many baskets full of fragments took ye up? And they said, Seven.

    Mark 6

1And he went out from thence, and came into his own country; and his disciples follow him.
2And when the sabbath day was come, he began to teach in the synagogue: and many hearing him were astonished, saying, From whence hath this man these things? and what wisdom is this which is given unto him, that even such mighty works are wrought by his hands?
3Is not this the carpenter, the son of Mary, the brother of James, and Joses, and of Juda, and Simon? and are not his sisters here with us? And they were offended at him.
4But Jesus, said unto them, A prophet is not without honour, but in his own country, and among his own kin, and in his own house.
5And he could there do no mighty work, save that he laid his hands upon a few sick folk, and healed them.
6And he marvelled because of their unbelief. And he went round about the villages, teaching.
    7And he called unto him the twelve, and began to send them forth by two and two; and gave them power over unclean spirits;
8And commanded them that they should take nothing for their journey, save a staff only; no scrip, no bread, no money in their purse:
9But be shod with sandals; and not put on two coats.
10And he said unto them, In what place soever ye enter into an house, there abide till ye depart from that place.
11And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear you, when ye depart thence, shake off the dust under your feet for a testimony against them. Verily I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for Sodom and Gomorrha in the day of judgment, than for that city.
12And they went out, and preached that men should repent.
13And they cast out many devils, and anointed with oil many that were sick, and healed them.
14And king Herod heard of him; (for his name was spread abroad:) and he said, That John the Baptist was risen from the dead, and therefore mighty works do shew forth themselves in him.
15Others said, That it is Elias. And others said, That it is a prophet, or as one of the prophets.
16But when Herod heard thereof, he said, It is John, whom I beheaded: he is risen from the dead.
17For Herod himself had sent forth and laid hold upon John, and bound him in prison for Herodias' sake, his brother Philip's wife: for he had married her.
18For John had said unto Herod, It is not lawful for thee to have thy brother's wife.
19Therefore Herodias had a quarrel against him, and would have killed him; but she could not:
20For Herod feared John, knowing that he was a just man and an holy, and observed him; and when he heard him, he did many things, and heard him gladly.
    21And when a convenient day was come, that Herod on his birthday made a supper to his lords, high captains, and chief estates of Galilee;
22And when the daughter of the said Herodias came in, and danced, and pleased Herod and them that sat with him, the king said unto the damsel, Ask of me whatsoever thou wilt, and I will give it thee.
23And he sware unto her, Whatsoever thou shalt ask of me, I will give it thee, unto the half of my kingdom.
24And she went forth, and said unto her mother, What shall I ask? And she said, The head of John the Baptist.
25And she came in straightway with haste unto the king, and asked, saying, I will that thou give me by and by in a charger the head of John the Baptist.
26And the king was exceeding sorry; yet for his oath's sake, and for their sakes which sat with him, he would not reject her.
27And immediately the king sent an executioner, and commanded his head to be brought: and he went and beheaded him in the prison,
28And brought his head in a charger, and gave it to the damsel: and the damsel gave it to her mother.
29And when his disciples heard of it, they came and took up his corpse, and laid it in a tomb.
30And the apostles gathered themselves together unto Jesus, and told him all things, both what they had done, and what they had taught.
31And he said unto them, Come ye yourselves apart into a desert place, and rest a while: for there were many coming and going, and they had no leisure so much as to eat.
32And they departed into a desert place by ship privately.
33And the people saw them departing, and many knew him, and ran afoot thither out of all cities, and outwent them, and came together unto him.
34And Jesus, when he came out, saw much people, and was moved with compassion toward them, because they were as sheep not having a shepherd: and he began to teach them many things.
35And when the day was now far spent, his disciples came unto him, and said, This is a desert place, and now the time is far passed:
36Send them away, that they may go into the country round about, and into the villages, and buy themselves bread: for they have nothing to eat.
37He answered and said unto them, Give ye them to eat. And they say unto him, Shall we go and buy two hundred pennyworth of bread, and give them to eat?
38He saith unto them, How many loaves have ye? go and see. And when they knew, they say, Five, and two fishes.
39And he commanded them to make all sit down by companies upon the green grass.
40And they sat down in ranks, by hundreds, and by fifties.
41And when he had taken the five loaves and the two fishes, he looked up to heaven, and blessed, and brake the loaves, and gave them to his disciples to set before them; and the two fishes divided he among them all.
42And they did all eat, and were filled.
43And they took up twelve baskets full of the fragments, and of the fishes.
44And they that did eat of the loaves were about five thousand men.

The Five Loaves are Five Lovers in the partitioning of the 12 as One in 7+5=12=5+2+5. This is encoded as the five husbands at 'Jacob's Well' and the Woman of Samaria (The 'Christian' Harlot Mary Magdalene in particular dogmatic interpretations and also related to the Sevem Virgins of the Koran and other ancient scrolls).

In the deeper sense this manifests the 12 'apostles' as 12 brothers and Sons of Jacob to four mothers: Leah, Bilha, Zilpah and Rachel, which are then twinned or mirrored or doubled in the 12-tiered Sisterhood of Mary Magdalene and thus manifesting the 24 Elders about the 'Heavenly Throne' in Revelation.5 and the Gospel of Thomas, the Thuban sourcebook from Our Lover Master Dragon JCCJ.

    GOT (Lambdin):

    (23) Jesus said, "I shall choose you, one out of a thousand, and two out of ten thousand, and they shall stand as a single one."

    (52) His disciples said to him, "Twenty-four prophets spoke in Israel, and all of them spoke in you."
He said to them, "You have omitted the one living in your presence and have spoken (only) of the dead."

    (70) Jesus said, "That which you have will save you if you bring it forth from yourselves. That which you do not have within you will kill you if you do not have it within you."

    (79) A woman from the crowd said to him, "Blessed are the womb which bore you and the breasts which nourished you."
He said to her, "Blessed are those who have heard the word of the father and have truly kept it. For there will be days when you will say, 'Blessed are the womb which has not conceived and the breasts which have not given milk.'"

    (105) Jesus said, "He who knows the father and the mother will be called the son of a harlot."

    (114) Simon Peter said to him, "Let Mary leave us, for women are not worthy of life."

Jesus said, "I myself shall lead her in order to make her male, so that she too may become a living spirit resembling you males. For every woman who will make herself male will enter the kingdom of heaven."

The Cosmic Mother is the AntiVirgin or 'Whore Barbelo', undoing a 'Virgin Birth' of the Male Babyprince, which never occurred in physicality and is so required to become undone in the mirror of the creator. The Universe of 2011 represents a Virgin Cosmos, imaged in a 'Once for All' encoding of the Christ Mother in personality, which then becomes multiplied and blended in 'Three Marys' of the 'Logos Sisterhood' from June 7BC to June 32 AD. John 6:1-14

1After these things Jesus went over the sea of Galilee, which is the sea of Tiberias.
2And a great multitude followed him, because they saw his miracles which he did on them that were diseased.
3And Jesus went up into a mountain, and there he sat with his disciples.
4And the passover, a feast of the Jews, was nigh.
5When Jesus then lifted up his eyes, and saw a great company come unto him, he saith unto Philip, Whence shall we buy bread, that these may eat?
6And this he said to prove him: for he himself knew what he would do.
7Philip answered him, Two hundred pennyworth of bread is not sufficient for them, that every one of them may take a little.
8One of his disciples, Andrew, Simon Peter's brother, saith unto him,
9There is a lad here, which hath five barley loaves, and two small fishes: but what are they among so many?
10And Jesus said, Make the men sit down. Now there was much grass in the place. So the men sat down, in number about five thousand.
11And Jesus took the loaves; and when he had given thanks, he distributed to the disciples, and the disciples to them that were set down; and likewise of the fishes as much as they would.
12When they were filled, he said unto his disciples, Gather up the fragments that remain, that nothing be lost.
13Therefore they gathered them together, and filled twelve baskets with the fragments of the five barley loaves, which remained over and above unto them that had eaten.
14Then those men, when they had seen the miracle that Jesus did, said, This is of a truth that prophet that should come into the world.

8For the moth shall eat them up like a garment, and the worm shall eat them like wool: but my righteousness shall be for ever, and my salvation from generation to generation.

Luke 11:17-19 - King James Version (KJV)

17But he, knowing their thoughts, said unto them, Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and a house divided against a house falleth.

19And if I by Beelzebub cast out devils, by whom do your sons cast them out? therefore shall they be your judges.
