    25. Bleeding Heart Earrings
    Worn By: Lady Amelia Windsor
    Owned Since: 2019
    Estimated Value:
    $285*
Not every single piece of jewelry owned by the Windsor family has to be extortionately expensive – although most of them are. Model and influencer Lady Amelia Windsor (the daughter of the Queen’s first cousin) collaborated with designers Tada & Toy in 2019 to come up with the Bleeding Heart Earrings.

Article-Images-RoyalJewels-Bleeding-Heart-Earrings-Lady-Amelia-Windsor. Bleeding Heart Earrings Lady Amelia Windsor @amelwindsor / Instagram.com

Inspired by Romeo & Juliet, the earrings are made up of 18-carat gold plated vermeil on sterling silver, topped off with rubies, pink opals, rose quartz, and white topaz. It might not be platinum and diamonds, but they’re still $285 a pair.
That’s far more affordable for the average person than a $50 million diamond brooch, but it’s still a little excessive. Lady Amelia Windsor isn’t a prominent member of the royal family, but she’s a popular influencer with over 86,000 followers on Instagram, so that probably helped to boost sales.
    26. Princess Diana’s Emerald Cut Aquamarine Ring
    Worn By: Meghan Markle
    Owned Since: 1996
    Estimated Value:
    $75,000*
Princess Diana certainly didn’t need to add to her sparkle, but a little bit of bling never hurt anyone – especially after a brutal split. After the Princess separated from Prince Charles in the mid-90s, she commissioned a jeweler to make a stunning emerald cut aquamarine ring.

Set in incredible, stunning yet dainty 24-carat yellow gold, the pale blue stone was seen on Diana’s finger several times. It most recently appeared on the hand of Meghan Markle, who wore it to the reception after she married Prince Harry in 2018. It’s thought the elegant piece is worth around $75,000 today.
    27. The Burmese Ruby Engagement Ring
    Worn By: Sarah Ferguson
    Owned Since: 1986
    Estimated Value:
    $78,000*
Rather than ask his mom for a loan of a family heirloom, Prince Andrew decided that his fiancee Sarah Ferguson deserved a specially made ring. Following in the footsteps of his brother Charles in breaking tradition, Andrew bought a spectacular Burmese ruby ring set with 10 diamonds on a thin yellow gold band.

When he popped the question back in 1986, Andrew paid around $33,000 for the sparkler. That equates to around $78,000 today, making this a very expensive piece of jewelry that Sarah was lucky to have – even if they did separate a decade later.
    28. Marie Antoinette’s Necklace
    Worn By: Marie Antoinette
    Owned Since: 1700s
    Estimated Value:
    $200,000-$300,000*
Marie Antoinette continues to be an interesting figure in history over 200 years after her untimely passing in 1793. The French queen and wife of Louis XVI was well known for her love of luxurious items, including her jewelry. However, what happened to the majority of it is relatively unknown.

Only a few pieces remain, including this pearl and diamond necklace that was auctioned off at Sotheby’s back in 2018. Featuring an incredible 331 natural pearls and a diamond clasp, this piece is the perfect embodiment of Marie Antoinette’s lifestyle prior to the French Revolution.
    29. The Maple Leaf Brooch
    Worn By: Queen Elizabeth II
    Owned Since: 1939
    Estimated Value:
    $75,000*
The Queen has been spotted wearing the Maple Leaf Brooch several times over the years. With its eye-catching diamonds and finely cut edges, it’s the perfect accompaniment to any outfit. The history of the brooch is just as rich as the diamonds it’s made from.

King George VI originally gifted the accessory to his wife Queen Elizabeth back in 1939 when they went to visit Canada. A decade later, Princess Elizabeth (who was still yet to become Queen) would wear it to The Great White North, too. The Queen Mother continued to own the piece up until she passed in 2002.
    30. Diamond and South Sea Pearl Earrings
    Worn By: Kate Middleton
    Owned Since: 1990
    Estimated Value:
    $100,000*
Princess Diana favored her diamond and pearl earrings as some of her most precious pieces. The People’s Princess wore them to several big events, starting with the Coronation Banquet of Emperor Akihito and Empress Michiko of Japan in 1990.

In the seven years leading up to her passing, Diana wore them many times, including on her last official engagement in 1997. Kate Middleton inherited them when she married Prince William, but hasn’t worn them quite as much. Kate did pair them with her white gown for the 2019 BAFTA’s, so at least they’re getting some use.
    31. Cullinan III & IV Brooch
    Worn By: Queen Elizabeth II
    Owned Since: 1907
    Estimated Value:
    $1.5 million*
The Cullinan III & IV Brooch is one of the Windsor family’s most expensive pieces, with an estimated value exceeding $1.5 million. Made from a huge 3,106 carat uncut diamond presented to King Edward VII in 1907, the brooch remains a truly precious part of the Royal Collection.

Queen Mary continued to wear the brooch until Queen Elizabeth II inherited her grandmother’s jewelry in the ‘50s. Understandably, Liz seldom wears the incredibly pricey jewel, but she did air it out for a state visit to the Netherlands in 1958, perhaps to keep up with the Dutch royal family.
    32. Greville Emerald Kokoshnik Tiara
    Worn By: Princess Eugenie
    Owned Since: 1919
    Estimated Value:
    $5-10 million*
Tiaras are to the royal family what cookies are to cream. You simply can’t have one without the other. The Greville Emerald Kokoshnik Tiara got special attention in 2018 when Princess Eugenie wore it on her wedding day. The perfect mix of diamonds and platinum creates the setting for the centerpiece – a huge 93.7 carat emerald.
    article-image-royal-jewels-greville-emerald-kokoshnik-tiara. Greville Emerald Kokoshnik Tiara @ mamamae4 / Pinterest.com

The tiara was originally bequeathed to the Queen Mother from Dame Margaret Greville after it was originally designed in 1919. Amazingly, Queen Elizabeth II has never worn the stunning piece, but is happy to lend out the mutli-million-dollar tiara to her precious granddaughters.
    33. Reflection Collection Diamond Cartier Earrings
    Worn By: Meghan Markle
    Owned Since: 2018
    Estimated Value:
    $68,000*
Not every piece of jewelry worn by the women of the House of Windsor is a century old. In some cases, modern is just as pretty – and just as expensive. When Meghan got changed after her wedding ceremony in 2018, she opted to wear a pair of Cartier earrings.
    Article-Images-RoyalJewels-Reflection-Collection-Diamond-Cartier-Earrings-Meghan-Markle. Reflection Collection Diamond Cartier Earrings Meghan Markle @Cartier / Pinterest.com / ©tumblr.com

The diamond and white gold set certainly weren’t cheap, even if they were new. Coming from the Reflection collection by the famous jeweler, they cost an incredible $68,000. They did match Meghan’s sleek white reception gown fairly well, so it’s not hard to see why she went for them.
    34. Princess Diana’s Four-String Pearl Choker
    Worn By: Kate Middleton
    Owned Since: 1982
    Estimated Value:
    $325,000*
Queen Elizabeth II commissioned Garrard to make this incredible four-string choker after she visited Japan in the mid ‘70s. The Japanese government gifted Her Majesty with some incredibly fine pearls and she wanted them made into a necklace. The result was magnificent.

The Queen loaned it out to Princess Diana when she was married to Charles, but understandably took it back after their split. While the choker remains the property of the Queen, she has loaned it out to Kate Middleton who wore it for the Queen’s anniversary party back in 2017.
    35. The York Tiara
    Worn By: Sarah Ferguson
    Owned Since: 1986
    Estimated Value:
    $800,000*
Wedding gifts from Queen Elizabeth II are always special, but Sarah Ferguson got one of the best when she married Prince Andrew in 1986. The Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh had a diamond tiara specially made with a value of $800,000.
    Article-Images-RoyalJewels-The-York-Tiara-Sarah-Ferguson. The York Tiara Sarah Ferguson @Popsynette / Pinterest.com | @chriscarr49 / Youtube.com
    Advertisement
Amazingly, Sarah got to keep the tiara when she and Andrew got divorced. Many thought that Princess Eugenie would wear it on her wedding day, but she opted for something different from the Royal Collection instead. Still, at least Sarah has something of value if she falls on hard times!
    36. The George IV State Diadem
    Worn By: Queen Elizabeth II
    Owned Since: 1821
    Estimated Value:
    $600,000*
Some things just get better with age, including the George IV State Diadem. King George IV had the incredible headpiece specially made for his coronation back in 1821. The diadem has over 1,333 diamonds set into a base surrounded by two strings of pearls. As such, it’s incredibly heavy.
Article-Images-RoyalJewels-The-George-IV-State-Diadem-Queen-Elizabeth-II. The George IV State Diadem Queen Elizabeth II @Christian Orlov / @Kristi King / Pinterest.com
    Advertisement
It passed down through the generations, ultimately winding up on the head of Queen Elizabeth II when she was crowned. Liz dusts it off for the annual State Opening of Parliament, so it gets some use – even if Her Majesty prefers not to wear it for the other 364 days of the year.
    37. Grand Duchess Vladimir Tiara
    Worn By: Queen Elizabeth II
    Owned Since: 1921
    Estimated Value:
    $470,000*
The Grand Duchess Vladimir Tiara didn’t start out as an English creation at all. In fact, it was previously owned by the Grand Duchess Elena Vladimirovna, who managed to sneak the diadem out of Russia in the midst of the revolution. The Duchess then sold the tiara to Queen Mary in 1921.
    article-image-royaljewels-vladimir-tiara. Grand Duchess Vladimir Tiara @sageofthewoods / Pinterest.com
    Advertisement
Russia’s loss was ultimately England’s gain, with Mary paying $36,000 for the honor. Adjusted for inflation, that makes it worth over $470,000 today – but that’s just a baseline. It’s rich history likely makes it a darn sight more valuable than that.
    38. Mouawad Ruby and Diamond Necklace
    Worn By: Kate Middleton
    Owned Since: 2011
    Estimated Value:
    $300,000*
We don’t know much about this stunning ruby and diamond necklace that appeared on Kate’s neck back in 2016, but it doesn’t take an expert to say it’s likely expensive. The Duchess reportedly received the necklace along with matching earrings and a bracelet for her wedding in 2011.
Article-Images-RoyalJewels-Mouwad-Ruby-and-Diamond-Necklace-Kate-Middleton. Mouwad Ruby and Diamond Necklace Kate Middleton @Daily Mail / @The Diamond Pro / Pinterest.com
    Advertisement
We don’t know who gave it, but judging by the sheer amount of diamonds and stunning rubies, it’s likely that the Mouawad suite is worth in excess of $300,000. It perfectly matches Kate’s elegance and charm while also being understated and not as gaudy as some other royal pieces.
    39. Reflection Collection Diamond Cartier Bracelet
    Worn By: Meghan Markle
    Owned Since: 2018
    Estimated Value:
    $155,000*
There are many sweet moments from Meghan and Harry’s wedding day that we could mention, but when they met at the altar and Harry took her hand, one thing was particularly eye-catching. Meghan’s wrist was adorned with a very fine diamond bracelet that we couldn’t help but notice.

The bracelet was from the Reflection collection at Cartier, just like the earrings Meg would later wear for their reception. Although it’s simplistic to look at, the diamond and white gold accessory was worth $155,000. That would pay for our first, second, third, and fourth weddings!
    40. The Meander Tiara
    Worn By: Princess Anne
    Owned Since: 1947
    Estimated Value:
    $2-4 million*
Not many of us are lucky enough to still know someone living that got married back in 1947, but the Queen and her husband exceed expectations. Back then, Elizabeth received the Meander Tiara as a gift from her mother-in-law, Princess Alice of Greece and Denmark.
    Article-Images-RoyalJewels-Princess-Andrew-Meander-Tiara-Princess-Anne. Princess Andrew's Meander Tiara Princess Anne @margaret Watson / @D Bostrom / Pinterest.com

When Princess Anne was old enough to receive it, the Queen gave it to her. Anne wore it to announce her engagement to Captain Mark Phillips, before loaning it out to her own daughter, Zara, when she got married in 2011. The Meander tiara is a family heirloom in every sense of the word, coming in at a value of between $2-$4 million.
    41. The Cubitt-Shand Tiara
    Worn By: Laura Lopes
    Owned Since: Early 1900s
    Estimated Value:
    $250,000*
The Cubitt-Shand Tiara isn’t a royal piece in the strictest sense of the word, but it does belong to Camilla, aka the Duchess of Cornwall. Camilla didn’t inherit this diadem from the Queen, but from her own grandmother, Sonia Keppel.
    Article-Images-RoyalJewels-The-Cubitt-Shand-Tiara-Laura-Lopes. The Cubitt-Shand Tiara Laura Lopes @British Royal Jewels / @Laura Parker-Bowles Lopez's Wedding / Pinterest.com

Sonia initially leant the tiara to Camilla for her first wedding in 1973, before it officially passed down to the Duchess. Camilla leant it to her daughter, Laura, for her wedding in 2006 to Harry Lopes. It’s a stunning diamond headpiece that certainly gives off the impression of royalty, even if its roots are more aristocratic than imperial.
    42. Gold Signet Pinky Ring
    Worn By: Prince Charles
    Owned Since: 1975
    Estimated Value:
    Priceless
Prince Charles was first spotted wearing his gold signet pinky ring back in the mid-70s. Since then, he’s rarely seen without it. No one knows where it comes from, but given that it’s part of Charles’ daily wardrobe, it’s virtually priceless.
Article-Images-RoyalJewels-Gold-Signet-Pinky-Ring-Prince-Charles. Gold Signet Pinky Ring Prince Charles @Veena Chauhan / @Prince of Wales Heraldic Jewelry / Pinterest.com
    Advertisement
Charles wore it when he got engaged to Diana, on his wedding day to Camilla, and virtually every day before and since. It may not be incredibly valuable, but it’s a symbol of his status as one of England’s most important people and next in line to the throne. Charles also wears his wedding ring on the same finger.
    43. St. Edward’s Crown
    Worn By: Queen Elizabeth II
    Owned Since: 1661
    Estimated Value:
    $39 million*
St. Edward’s Crown is possibly the most important item in the entire Royal Collection. First created back in 1649, the original crown was destroyed in the English Civil War, with this version created in 1661. Made of solid gold with 444 precious and semi-precious stones embedded throughout, it’s incredibly heavy and unjustifiably expensive.
    Article-Images-RoyalJewels-St-Edward-Crown-Queen-Elizabeth. St. Edward’s Crown Queen Elizabeth II @Daily Mail @ITV News / Youtube.com | @Nona Dominguez / Pinterest.com
    Advertisement
The sheer historical value mixed with the pricey materials used to construct it make this piece worth over $39 million. Kings and queens have worn it for coronations for centuries, including Queen Elizabeth in the ‘50s. You simply don’t get better than this.
    44. The Belgium Sapphire Tiara, Earrings and Necklace
    Worn By: Queen Elizabeth II
    Owned Since: 1947
    Estimated Value:
    $1 million*
Queen Elizabeth II has been the proud owner of the Belgium Sapphire Tiara, Earrings, and Necklace suite since her wedding day in 1947. The Queen’s beloved late father gave her the necklace and earrings, so they hold a special sentimental significance.

Although the Queen became the proud owner of them in the 40s, the jewelry actually dates back to the Victorian era. The tiara was an added bonus that the Queen herself purchased back in 1963 from Princess Louise of Belgium, hence the name. One cannot have a set that isn’t complete.
    45. Diamond Monogram Brooch
    Worn By: Princess Margaret
    Owned Since: 1951
    Estimated Value:
    $200,000*
Lovers of Netflix’s The Crown will know that Princess Margaret was the more fashionable sister, free from the same constraints as Elizabeth and therefore, just a tad more likely to wear something just for the hell of it. This particular brooch was either gifted or commissioned back in 1951.
    Article-Images-RoyalJewels-Diamond-Monogram-Brooch-Princess-Margaret. Diamond Monogram Brooch Princess Margaret @Jewellery is for me / Facebook.com | @Christie's / Pinterest.com
    Advertisement
Featuring the initial “M” adorned with a crown, the small, yet beautiful piece sold for around $200,000 some time ago, surpassing the original estimate from Christie’s by $195,000. It’s a much more understated piece than some others we’ve seen, but therein lies the charm.
    46. Tabbah Infinite Cascade Necklace
Worn By: Princess Charlene of Monaco
    Owned Since: 2011
    Estimated Value:
    $300,000-$500,000*
When Princess Charlene of Monaco got hitched in 2011 to Prince Albert II of Monaco, she wanted something spectacular to wear. The result was a necklace designed by Tabbah, but the Princess helped it come to fruition.

Made up of 1,237 differently shaped diamonds topped off with whtie pearls, the modern necklace is an unusual shape, but one that complimented Princess Charlene incredibly well. It’s not known exactly how much the piece is worth, but given its importance and its materials, we’re likely looking at between $300,000-$500,000.
    47. The Imperial State Crown
    Worn By: Queen Elizabeth II
    Owned Since: 1937
    Estimated Value:
Part of the $5-billion-dollar Crown Jewels
The Imperial State Crown could easily get mistaken for St. Edward’s Crown, but the two are different. The current version of the crown was created in 1937 for the monarch to wear after the coronation and at other important events. It features the impressive Cullinan II diamond, St. Edward’s Sapphire, the Stuart Sapphire, and the Black Prince’s Ruby, as well as a smattering of other diamonds and gold.
    article-image-imperial-state-crown. Imperial State Crown @ moneyman3 / Pinterest.com

It is near impossible to put a specific value on this crown alone, but it is part of The Crown Jewels. Collectively, The Crown Jewels are worth close to $5 billion. Needless to say, the Imperial State Crown is worth an unsightly amount of money.
    48. Parmigiani Watch
    Worn By: Prince Charles
    Owned Since: 2015
    Estimated Value:
    $12,500*
Prince Charles wouldn’t be caught dead in a tiara and you can think again if you suspect he’s partial to a diamond necklace or two. But, that doesn’t mean the Prince doesn’t enjoy the finer things in life – like his Parmigiani watch. The heir to the throne has been wearing the 18-carat time piece with pride since 2015.

Only a select few pieces from the Swiss watchmaker get released every year, meaning that only those quickest off the mark are able to snag one. Prince Charles allegedly bought his from the village of Klosters in Switzerland when he was vacationing nearby.
    49. Princess Diana’s Butterfly Earrings
    Worn By: Meghan Markle
    Owned Since: Unknown
    Estimated Value:
    $15,000*
Princess Diana’s butterfly stud earrings are possibly some of the cheapest in her entire collection at just $15,000. However, just because they aren’t as valuable doesn’t mean they aren’t noteworthy. The Duchess of Sussex wore the sweet studs a few times during the Royal Tour of Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, and Tonga.

The gold set diamonds are tiny, but add just enough sparkle to elevate an outfit. Princess Diana likely wore them when she was still Lady Diana Spencer, before her jewelry collection expanded beyond all recognition. It’s difficult to imagine Princess Di in them post-marriage.
    50. Aquamarine Pine Flower tiara
    Worn By: Princess Anne
    Owned Since: 1940s
    Estimated Value:
    $1-2 million*
Cartier made this wonderful aquamarine pine flower tiara for Queen Elizabeth (aka the Queen Mother) back in the 1940s. Although it was a present from King George VI to his new wife, the Queen Mother didn’t much like it and ended up giving it to her granddaughter, Princess Anne for her 1973 wedding.

Princess Anne made her own changes to the piece, making it substantially shorter and rearranging the aquamarines slightly to better suit her taste. King George VI originally paid around $1000 for it, but these days it’s worth closer to $2 million.

It doesn’t take an expert to know that royal families have a lot of incredibly expensive possessions. From palaces to cars they’ve lived the high life for decades, but there’s one particular element that is often more fascinating than anything else: jewels.
From tiaras that would make Tiffany’s green with envy to stunning eleven-tier pearl necklaces and diamonds brooches worth over $50 million, the royal collection is truly incredible. Everyone from Kate Middleton to Queen Mary has had the pleasure of wearing some iconic pieces that will be ingrained in history forever.
Make no mistake – these rocks can’t be found in the sale section. They’re incredible heirlooms passed down from one diamond-loving monarch to another. Every royal worth their salt has at least one or two prized pieces in their collection, whether they designed them or inherited them.
    1. Queen Mary’s Diamond Bar Choker Bracelet
Worn By: Kate Middleton, Duchess of Cambridge
    Owned Since: 1900s
    Estimated Value:
    $500,000*
This stunning band of diamonds was once worn as a choker by Queen Mary, the Queen’s grandmother. These days, it’s a bracelet that looks just as breathtaking sat on the wrist of Kate Middleton.

Kate has worn it several times, but the Queen Mother also loved it. In fact, she chose to wear the piece in her official 75th birthday portraits taken by Norman Parkinson. While the Duchess of Cambridge looks charming and elegant with it, the Queen Mother gave it a whole different lease of life.
The Queen Mother passed away a year before Kate started dating Prince William in 2002, so the Duchess never got a chance to meet her husband’s great grandmother. Something tells us that HRH would’ve approved of Will’s choice. If anyone is going to do this bracelet justice, it’s Kate.

    2. Girls of Great Britain and Ireland Tiara
    Worn By: Queen Elizabeth II
    Owned Since: 1947
    Estimated Value:
    $207,000*
Royal weddings have always been a big deal in Britain and other territories. Family members and friends of the happy couple flock to give gifts that are truly worthy of the occasion. In 1947 when Elizabeth married Prince Philip, her grandmother Queen Mary gave her the exquisite Girls of Great Britain and Ireland Tiara.

Thought to be worth around $207,000 in today’s money, the stunning diamond tiara is one of Queen Elizabeth’s most prized possessions. It certainly beats the $100 Amazon gift card that most of us get when we tie the knot!
It isn’t quite as big as some of the other diadems in Elizabeth’s collection, but when it comes to sheer value size doesn’t always matter. This tiara is chic enough to be worn to many different occasions, which is why the Queen loves it so much.
    3. Queen Mary’s Lover’s Knot Tiara
    Worn By: Princess Diana
    Owned Since: 1914
    Estimated Value:
    $4 million*
The Lover’s Knot Tiara has gained more attention in recent years as Kate Middleton’s most favorite headpiece. It’s not hard to see why the Duchess loves it so much. After all, it’s striking and the diamond and pearl topper previously belonged to the mother-in-law Kate never got to meet, Diana.

Queen Mary had the diadem commissioned in 1914 before it eventually made its way down the line. Queen Elizabeth II gave it to Princess Diana as a wedding gift, but Diana had to return it upon her split with Charles in the ‘90s. Its rich history means it’s likely worth somewhere in the region of $4 million.
Even though Diana had to part with it after the breakdown of her marriage, she got plenty of use out of it during the years preceding. With its large pearls and simple knotted diamonds, the Lover’s Knot Tiara is arguably one of the finest pieces in the collection.
    4. The Four-Row Pearl Choker
    Worn By: Queen Elizabeth II
    Owned Since: 1970s
    Estimated Value:
    $200,000*
Queen Elizabeth II has always been partial to the odd pearl or two, so perhaps that’s where Diana got her love of them. Her Majesty commissioned the special four-row pearl choker sometime in the ‘70s. It may not be the most expensive piece in Liz’s collection, but it has a rich history.

Diana wore it numerous times before Kate Middleton became the next owner. The Duchess was spotted wearing it for the Queen and Prince Philip’s 70th-anniversary party at Windsor Castle back in 2017, proving that pieces like this really don’t have a shelf life.
As for the Queen herself, it’s been some time since she has been seen wearing it. It could be that Liz doesn’t want to be reminded of her fallen daughter-in-law, or she could simply be spoilt for choice. After all, the Queen has plenty of pearls.
    5. Queen Mary’s Diamond Bandeau
Worn By: Meghan Markle, Duchess of Sussex
    Owned Since: 1932
    Estimated Value:
    $2.5 million*
Like any bride marrying into the Royal Family, Meghan Markle had to borrow a tiara from the collection to top off her outfit. Queen Elizabeth kindly loaned her Queen Mary’s Diamond Bandeau worth over $2.5 million for her special day.

The tiara was originally made to house a diamond brooch for Queen Mary back in 1932 and comes in eleven sections, making it incredibly versatile. The finely cut pave diamonds looked stunning atop the Duchess of Sussex’s veil back in 2018 as they glittered with every camera flash.
It must’ve been hard for Meghan to pick just one out of the many she would’ve been offered, but the simplicity and clean lines of the bandeau complimented her dress. Meghan paired the tiara with simple diamond earrings that glittered in the sunlight.
    6. The Boucheron Honeycomb Tiara
Worn By: Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall
    Owned Since: 1942
    Estimated Value:
    $3 million*
The younger generation of royals tend not to go for over the top, elaborate headpieces. Instead, they prefer the more intricate ones in the collection. The same can’t be said for the Duchess of Cornwall, who has been spotted in the elaborate Boucheron Honeycomb Tiara.

The Queen Mother received the incredible tiara as a gift back in 1942, before having it altered by none other than Cartier. The main piece features three enormous diamonds set in hexagons and – of course – more diamonds. Worth $3 million, it’s kept tightly under lock and key when it’s not being worn.
As we already know, Camilla isn’t afraid to make a statement with her choice in jewels. Few royals would be quite as bold, even though the Boucheron Honeycomb Tiara is stunning. It takes a lot of confidence to pull something like this off. Luckily, Camilla has that in spades.
    7. “Granny’s Chips” Brooch
    Worn By: Queen Elizabeth II
    Owned Since: 1905
    Estimated Value:
    $50 million*
$50 million is a huge value to place on anything, let alone a piece of jewelry. The price of this brooch seems extortionate, even for Queen Elizabeth II, but there’s a good reason behind it. Made up of cuttings from the Cullinan Diamond discovered in 1905, it’s wonderfully rare and one of a kind.

After the diamond was presented to King Edward VII, he had it shaped into a 94.4 carat stone which he gave to his wife. Queen Mary later handed it down to Queen Elizabeth, who lovingly refers to it as the “Granny’s Chips” Brooch.
For the rest of Britain, “Granny’s Chips” would probably refer to dinner, not a huge diamond that happens to be worth $50 million. If there was ever a sign that Her Majesty has it better than most of her public, this is it.
    8. Queen Alexandra’s Wedding Necklace
Worn By: Kate Middleton, Duchess of Cambridge
    Owned Since: 1863
    Estimated Value:
    $1.6 million*
Prince Albert thought long and hard about what to give his bride Princess Alexandra of Denmark for their wedding day in 1863. The future king spent £13,680 on the incredible parure that included this diamond necklace, a brooch, and a pair of earrings. In today’s money, that’s an eye-watering $1.6 million.

The necklace was handed down to the Queen Mother, aka Elizabeth II’s mom. The Queen Mother enjoyed it and wore it often, right up until her passing in 2002. It was then kept under lock and key until the Duchess of Cambridge was spotted wearing it to a banquet in 2018. You wouldn’t find this at Tiffany’s.
Kate looked flawless when she sported it that special night as she paired it with pearl drop earrings and an equally breathtaking tiara. It’s not always easy being a Duchess and the wife of a future king, but gifts like this certainly help.
    9. The Queen Mary Fringe Tiara
    Worn By: Princess Anne
    Owned Since: 1919
    Estimated Value:
    $5 million*
The Queen Mary Fringe Tiara has such a wonderful and rich history it’s not hard to see why it was once valued at $5 million. The stunning diamond piece was actually a necklace passed down by Queen Victoria to Queen Mary. Mary eventually had it reworked into a tiara.

While Princess Anne has worn the elaborate headpiece made from gold, silver, and diamonds most often, Queen Elizabeth II wore it on her wedding day to Prince Philip. The tiara came unhinged on the morning of the wedding, causing the Queen Mother to calmly state, “We have two hours and there are other tiaras.”
Princess Anne also followed in her mom’s footsteps and sported the tiara for her wedding to Captain Mark Phillips in 1973. The marriage may have ended in 1989, but the photos of Anne wearing the diadem will live on in the history books forever.
    10. The Duchess of Cornwall’s Pink Topaz Choker
Worn By: Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall
    Owned Since: 2000
    Estimated Value:
    $30,000*
Gorgeous stones like pink topaz are the epitome of luxury for those with enough cash to make the purchase. A set of topaz antique gems went on sale at Sotheby’s back in 2000, before eagle-eyed fans noticed Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall was wearing them.

The necklace is the life and soul of the party, combining one huge stone with several rows of pearls. Although it’s impossible to know the exact value of the entire piece itself, the set of jewels sold for $28,000 at the original auction in 2000. The Duchess could be spotted wearing the choker at Harry and Meghan’s wedding, which was aired on CBS.
The very fact that Camilla chose to wear this particular necklace out of all the others in her collection for such a momentous occasion speaks volumes about how she feels about it. There aren’t all that many pink jewels in the royal family, so this one certainly sticks out.
    11. Kate Middleton’s Acron & Oak Leaf Wedding Earrings
    Worn By: Kate Middleton
    Owned Since: 2011
    Estimated Value:
    $18,000*
Kate Middleton’s parents obviously put a lot of thought into what to give their daughter for her wedding day. She was marrying the future king, after all. The Middletons had custom-made earrings designed to feature oak leaves and acorns, each representing Kate and her siblings.

The sentimental treat wasn’t a cheap one, costing the bride’s family $18,000. It was worth every penny considering how happy Kate looked on the day – and how well the earrings matched her wedding look. The droplet earrings will likely be passed down to Princess Charlotte.
Almost everything from Kate’s bridal look became immensely popular in the years following the wedding. Brides flocked to copy Kate’s lace wedding dress, while others searched across the internet for similar (not quite so expensive) earrings! When Meghan and Harry tied the knot in 2018, many were quick to compare.
    12. Camilla’s Amethyst Heart
Worn By: Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall
    Owned Since: 1923
    Estimated Value:
    $200,000*
Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall, has been spotted wearing the Queen Mother’s Amethyst Heart necklace on several occasions. This piece might not be quite as out there as some other necklaces in the royal collection, but it’s just as beautiful.

The large heart-shaped amethyst pendant is a striking shade of purple and was first gifted to the Queen Mother on her wedding day in 1923. The diamond-set stone is perfectly set off by a chain of diamonds and pearls, putting its value somewhere in the region of $200,000. Prince Charles allegedly loves the necklace, so it makes sense Camilla ended up wearing it.
To the untrained eye it looks a little bit like the famous Heart of the Ocean from James Cameron’s hit ‘90s CBS movie, Titanic. However, the Heart of the Ocean was a sapphire and fictional. There’s nothing made up about this giant gem!
    13. The Eleven-Strand Pearl Choker
    Worn By: Princess Diana
    Owned Since: Unknown
    Estimated Value:
    $200,000*
Princess Diana loved to wear chokers, especially pearl ones. They matched her beauty unlike anything else. Diana had several different types, including an eleven-strand pearl choker with diamond and ruby spacers. It was one of her more understated pieces, but one she wore on many different occasions.

The late Diana’s jewelry is often a source of intrigue for royal fans because of her own tragic tale. When she passed away in 1997, Diana’s jewelry collection was inherited by her sons in order for them to give it to their wives. Both Meghan and Kate have been seen wearing certain items of Diana’s when featured on news outlets like Fox.
We have yet to see either of the Duchesses sporting this impressive choker, but maybe the occasion just hasn’t arrived yet. On the flip side, it’s an impressive piece but not exactly a timeless one. Chokers of this substance are hard to pull off these days.
    14. The Prince Albert Brooch
    Worn By: Queen Elizabeth II
    Owned Since: 1840
    Estimated Value:
    $4 million*
Queen Victoria may be remembered as a particularly stern and stoic queen, but back in 1840 she was just another blushing bride. Prince Albert gave his wife a gorgeous sapphire brooch, aptly titled The Prince Albert Brooch. It’s thought that the enormous stone set in diamonds is worth $4 million.

Queen Victoria designated it an “heirloom of the crown” meaning that only Queens or Queen Consorts could wear it. Queen Elizabeth II, like her mother before her, is partial to wearing the glittering piece and has been spotted sporting it on many different occasions. It’s certainly not costume jewelry like you’d see on Netflix’s The Crown.
Her Majesty is partial to matching her jewelry to her outfits, so this stunning sapphire can often be seen when Elizabeth is dressed up to the nines in blue. Fashions may have changed over the years, but Liz’s love of coordination has never waned.
    15. Princess Diana’s Engagement Ring
Worn By: Kate Middleton, Duchess of Cambridge
    Owned Since: 1981
    Estimated Value:
    $100,000*
When Prince Charles proposed to Diana Spencer in the early ‘80s, he went against the grain. Instead of giving her something from the royal collection, he allowed Diana to pick something herself. The result was the now infamous blue sapphire and diamond ring. At the time, Charles shelled out $36,000 for it.

Nowadays, the gorgeous ring is worth $100,000. Prince William delighted fans when he gave it to Kate Middleton when he popped the question back in 2010. Kate treasures the piece – and rightly so. This kind of heirloom doesn’t come around all that often.
Not only does it have a special place in Kate and Will’s family history, but it’s an important historical piece. Some may say it represents one of the most famous doomed marriages ever, but the marriage still resulted in Will and Harry which is something to celebrate.
    16. The Lotus Flower Tiara
    Worn By: Princess Margaret
    Owned Since: 1923
    Estimated Value:
    $4 million*
The Lotus Flower Tiara now belongs to Kate Middleton, but rewind the clock and Princess Margaret was once the rightful owner of the band of diamond arches topped off with single pearls.

The Queen Mother was the first owner of the tiara but it started out life as a necklace. Her husband gave it to her for their wedding in 1923, before the Queen Mother had it remodeled into a tiara. Kate has worn it several times, but the art deco piece hasn’t been seen for a few years, much to the chagrin of fans everywhere.
It’s simple enough to be understated while shiny enough to make a statement, which is probably why Princess Margaret wore it so often. Nothing says “royal” like a small smattering of diamonds, especially one that dates all the way back to the start of the 20th century.
    17. The Delhi Durbar Tiara
Worn By: Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall
    Owned Since: 1911
    Estimated Value:
    $2 million*
Some tiaras are elegant and understated, while others walk into a room ten minutes before the person wearing it appears. The Delhi Durbar Tiara is a truly magnificent item that can’t be missed. It first appeared in 1911 when Queen Mary had it made for the Delhi Durbar, aka the celebration of her official coronation as Empress of India.

The diadem was then passed to the Queen Mother before it went to the Queen, who eventually loaned it to Camilla in 2005. Many felt like this was a true stamp of approval from a mother-in-law to a daughter-in-law. Considering its cost, it’s not hard to see why.
Few modern royals dare to wear a tiara that’s quite as big, but Camilla isn’t exactly known for being shy. The Duchess has been known to pair it with several other diamond pieces, from necklaces to earrings. The shinier, the better.
    18. The Poltimore Tiara
    Worn By: Princess Margaret
    Owned Since: 1959
    Estimated Value:
    $1.3 million*
Garrard was behind this incredible piece that was initially made for Florence Bampfylde before it was auctioned off in 1959. The winning bidder was Princess Margaret, who happily spent £5500 on the wonderful diamond item that can be broken down into 11 brooches.

    Article-Images-RoyalJewels-The-Poltimore-Tiara-Princess-Margaret. The Poltimore Tiara Princess Margaret @BRF / Tumblr.com

Princess Margaret liked it so much that she wore it on her wedding day. Years later an image of the Princess in a bathtub wearing the tiara, prompted her children to sell it for $1.3 million.
The delicate pattern makes it wonderfully interesting to look at, but it’s arguably Princess Margaret that made this piece truly magical. Without her ethereal beauty – and that bathroom snap – the diadem wouldn’t be worth nearly as much as it is today.
    19. The Strathmore Rose Tiara
Worn By: Elizabeth Bowes-Lyon, The Queen Mother
    Owned Since: 1923
    Estimated Value:
    $500,000*
Before the Queen Mother ever became the Queen Mother, she was Elizabeth Bowes-Lyon on the cusp of starting her life as a married woman. Her parents gifted her the Strathmore Rose Tiara after purchasing it from Catchpole and Williams in 1923.

Made up of a band of diamond flowers, it has two frames, allowing the wearer to have it positioned on the forehead or higher up. The Queen Mother loved it and its ability to separate into brooches. No one else has worn the striking piece. The Queen Mother herself put it away long before she became the Queen Mother.
The ‘20s piece is a perfect example of the fashion of the time, but we would love to see it make an appearance now. All we have to go on is pictures of the Queen Mother wearing it in her prime. It would be great to see a younger royal giving it some air now.
    20. Brazilian Aquamarine Parure Tiara, Earrings, and Necklace
    Worn By: Queen Elizabeth II
    Owned Since: 1953
    Estimated Value:
    $1 million*
The Queen is more partial to clear diamonds than colorful pieces, but even Her Majesty can’t deny the profound beauty of the Brazilian Aquamarine Parure Tiara, earrings, and necklace set she was given in 1953.

The incredible trifecta couples stunning rectangular aquamarines from Brazil with platinum and diamonds. Made by Mappin & Webb in Rio de Janeiro, the set was a gift from the President and his people for the Queen’s coronation. Elizabeth still wears the collection to this day, proving that a pop of color always goes down well in the end.
The crystal clear gems look so wonderful it’s almost impossible to think that they’re actually real. Given the estimated value of $1 million, it’s not hard to see why Liz only busts this set out at special occasions. Still, we wish we saw it more.
    21. The Burmese Ruby Tiara
    Worn By: Queen Elizabeth II
    Owned Since: 1973
    Estimated Value:
    $9 million*
The Burmese Ruby Tiara is quite unique for multiple reasons. It’s one of the more modern pieces of jewelry owned by Queen Elizabeth II as she commissioned it in the early ‘70s. Made by Garrard, the breathtaking diadem contains 96 rubies gifted to the Queen by the Burmese people.

Given its historical importance and the sheer amount of gems and diamonds used to create it, experts have valued the tiara at an astonishing $9 million. According to The Express, the Burmese people believe that the rubies keep illnesses at bay. Given the Queen’s good health and lack of trips to CVS, they could be right.
At 94 years old, Her Majesty is one of the longest-reigning monarchs in history. If only she knew when she accepted the rubies that she would still be wearing them fifty years later! At 99, Prince Philip may well have a gem or two squirreled away as well.
    22. The Festoon Tiara
    Worn By: Autumn Phillips
    Owned Since: 1973
    Estimated Value:
    $500,000*
Princess Anne has had the pleasure of performing her royal duties for many years now. Not only has she opened hospitals, but she has also christened ships. Back in 1973, she was given the Festoon Tiara as a present for unveiling a vessel. The dainty design of the tiara made it a perfect addition to her daughter-in-law’s wedding outfit in 2008.

Autumn Phillips looked stunning when she married Anne’s son, Peter, 12 years ago. With so little about the origin of the tiara known, it’s difficult to put an exact price on it. However, the World Wide Shipping Group likely didn’t pick it up at Dollar Tree.
Autumn coupled the tiara with a traditional veil with lace detailing and simple pearl earrings. Few brides can say their “something old” was given to them by a member of the British Royal Family, but then again – few brides actually marry into that family, either.
    23. The Saudi Sapphire Set
    Worn By: Princess Diana
    Owned Since: 1981
    Estimated Value:
    $1 million*
Princess Diana received an extortionate amount of gifts when she married Prince Charles in 1981. When the story that seemed like a fairytale was just beginning, the Saudi prince gifted Diana an incredible jewelry set for the occasion.

Perhaps the most famous out of all the pieces was the huge Burmese sapphire necklace set in diamonds with a thin diamond chain to accompany it. Diana wore the stunning set several times, with many of her most popular photos in the Carlyle Group’s Getty collection showing the People’s Princess wearing one of the pieces.
It was no secret that Diana loved sapphires as she picked out her famous engagement ring. If Netflix’s The Crown is to be believed, Diana knew the stone matched her eyes. She wasn’t wrong. Few can deny that the Princess looked stunning whenever she wore a sapphire.
    24. The Cartier Halo Scroll Tiara
Worn By: Kate Middleton, Duchess of Cambridge
    Owned Since: 1936
    Estimated Value:
    $1.6 million*
With 149 baguette-cut diamonds, the Cartier Halo Scroll Tiara is among one of the finest tiaras in the entire Windsor collection. Kate Middleton was loaned the headpiece for her wedding in 2011, but it was originally made for the Queen Mother back in 1936 by Cartier.

Her husband King George VI wanted her to have something special. The Queen Mother gave it to her daughter, Elizabeth, in 1944, before the Queen loaned it out to her grandson’s new bride for her special day. Experts say it’s likely worth $1.6 million.
The value would have significantly increased after Kate wore the tiara on her big day. It’s not every day that a set of diamonds becomes so culturally important. Future generations will look at the pictures of Kate and Will’s wedding for years to come.
