Dan Maynard I read some of the replies to your comment, and this is sad. Why not fight now, so our kids and grandkids live in a free society. I wonder what our world would be if the men and women who came before us had this attitude? Would we still live under tyranny? Would we live under a fascist regime, or would we have already fallen to communism. Any one of these scenarios is a possibility, but for the patriots who were willing to fight and sacrifice for future generations. How dare you do any less then what our forefathers were willing to do.
So, you’re too old? You can’t support activists who are out there right now standing the line and fighting back for you. This is not the American spirit I grew up with. The America I grew up in every man woman and child would stand the line, and do whatever they were capable of doing to make sure America and American ideology was preserved for future generations. You’re attitude of “Oh well, I’ll be dead, so no biggie.” Is a defeatist attitude, and they have already won.
I too am older, but I’m not dead, and I fight back. Even if we lose this battle, at least my children and grandchildren will know that I stood the line for their freedom.
