The downside of electricity. vehicles​

Yes electric vehicles, it sounds nice, ​

but we have a bunch of problems.​

1. Up to 500 tonnes of lithium ore are used to make one 1,000 kg battery​

2. It takes a lot of energy to make this ore area​

​

3. Up to 30 barrels of oil (30x205 liters) are used to produce this same battery.​

​

4. Batteries overheat when charging and emptying, and need to be cooled,​

the cooling system in the battery increases the weight of the battery,​

consumes electricity and can break down​

​

5. Lithium batteries like to ignite and burn very explosive​

​

6. The price of el vehicles is too high​

​

7. El vehicles can be “hacked” and take control of them very easily​

​

8. They have built in cameras in the cabin, for surveillance​

​

9. They have an active gps tracking system​

​

10. Electric energy is getting more expensive,​

maybe because of electric vehicles.​
