1. If you aren't doing your best, you can always do better...
   so don't settle for just "being okay"...strive to be your best.

2. Just because you accept something, doesn't mean you can't change it.
Sometimes, you can, so why not try?

3. You don't have to be satisfied with mediocrity and you don't have to settle...
Why say "good enough" when you know you can do more?

In life, it's easy to fall into a state of apathy or denial,
especially when we know we're not doing our best.

Like when we eat unhealthy stuff or aren't consistent in our exercise.

If the scale doesn't reflect our unhealthy choices,
do we view it as a second chance to keep doing what we've been doing,
or do we see it as an opportunity to do better?

Are we celebrating because it's not as bad as it could have been?

For me, it's a short trip from "Phew!

Dodged that bullet" to "What the hell happened?!!!"

How often have we been prepared to see a higher number on the scale

(especially after a day or week of particularly poor choices),

and how many times has that higher number NOT appeared?

What we do at that moment is what matters most.

Is that "pass" on the scale your "Free Parking"
or is it your "Get Out Of Jail Free" card?

Here's a hint, one of those things requires change.
