I am absolutely speechless. I have been wanting to see the Northern Lights (Aurora Borealis) since I was 12,
ever since my dad mentioned he witnessed them when he was out West and way up North.

It has been a dream and a bucket list of mine to one day see them…
and tonight that wish came true.

All the photo credit goes to my amazing husband who I actually woke up (mid sleep might I add)
to tell him there was a light show going on tonight, as people were posting!

He got up like a trooper & off we went searching!

We didn’t have to go far, literally down the street to our main beach (Beach 1) in Wasaga Beach, Ontario Canada
and caught this spectacular light show and shot.

We froze to death with the Northern Winds and the lake breeze but my God was it worth it..

I managed to get some photos myself but I am the “Shiver Queen”
with no immune system (thanks Rituximab) and I couldn’t keep my hands still..
My phone kept telling me “Hold Still”.. So I am so incredibly grateful Dave
was able to capture what he did!!
I am still pinching myself and never thought we would see them here.. but here we are!
