11 AUGUST 1999 to 11 AUG 2018 - ONE METONIC CYCLE

NEW MOON SUPERMOON PARTIAL SOLAR ECLIPSE in Leo on August 11, 2018 - Part 2:
(Long post, enjoy!)
Tomorrow, Saturday August 11, 2018,
we will have (1) a New Moon which is also (2) a Partial Solar Eclipse AND (3) a Supermoon.

It will occur at 18 degrees of Leo at 5:59am EDT.

Three potent energy points come together. So what does it all mean?

***Here’s an attempt at unpacking it for you*

NEW MOON = New Beginnings in complete darkness, no light, not visual in the sky

SUPERMOON = Closer to earth and appears bigger than an ordinary moon

SUPER NEW MOON = an origination point that is right up next to us – so close we can hear it breathing
- but we CAN’T ACTUALLY SEE IT.

It’s super. It’s new. And it brings super new beginnings.

It’s accessible BUT HIDDEN.

Big, invisible, looming darkness that is full of the potential of great new things.

PARTIAL SOLAR ECLIPSE = Part of the sun’s Light is blocked and covered by the moon.

It looks like a cookie. “The moon takes a bit out of the sun.”

Make sure your new beginnings will fly low under the radar.

This is the time for germinating a subtle creation that needs cover in order to incubate.

You can expect a shapeshifting outcome. Remember, you are only going to TAKE A BITE OUT OF YOUR GOAL.

Don’t try and conquer the whole thing.

There is a part of your project that is so hidden that you have no way of knowing about it now.

But it will be revealed at the perfect time and move you closer to your destiny.

WHAT DO YOU GET WHEN YOU ADD ALL OF THIS UP?

An extremely close and big darkness full of primal potential that is incredibly hidden and especially deep,
which constitutes a pinpoint new beginning and which has a segment that is so deeply hidden
that it’s ok to realize you don’t truly know what you’re doing. Does that about sum up your life lately? Me too


WHAT DO YOU GET WHEN YOU ADD LEO, THE SIGN OF THIS MOON?

If you go back and read my previous post (from a few days ago) on the nature of the Leo New Moon,
you will learn about creativity and being fully alive and lit up. We can take that a step further as we realize
another aspect of Leo - it rules the HEART.

So we are working with HEART INTELLIGENCE. It’s the simple application of two things: Love and Joy.

No matter what you do, do it with love (for self and others). No matter how dark or close or big it is, open your heart.

Even if it hurts. No matter how WEIRD it is getting out there on the world stage
(and Lord it is getting more weirder every day), allow joy to bubble up.

It’s so simple. It’s a mindful practice for each and every day to create and sustain mental health:

Tap into the wellspring of Love and Joy within your heart and allow it to intuitively inform you intentions,
thoughts and feelings.

This new moon eclipse is a fabulous time to double down on consciously walking this path.

We’ve all been saying it for years, but the truth is: loving each other and living in joy is sometimes,
and perhaps literally, the only thing we can do in the face of this rapidly changing bewildering society.

LEO, THE LIONSGATE AND REGULUS

This eclipse falls near to the calendar date of 8-8 (August 8th) which is identified by many people as the Lionsgate.

It’s due to the 8’s, the power of numbers. I haven’t worked with the Lionsgate much
but I’m aware of it and I do love the number 8!

For me, an event, portal or gateway doesn’t have as much meaning if it’s *only* associated with a Gregorian calendar date

Apart from 11:11 on the digital clock (which totally excites me!),
dates on the Roman calendar don’t move me as much as events tied in with sun, moon, planets, equinox, solstice, stars, galaxies etc.

However, at the moment of this new moon eclipse, the star REGULUS is deeply tied with the planet Uranus
(revolutionary change); and Uranus is DIRECTLY OVERHEAD in Washington DC at the moment of the eclipse.

Regulus is a fixed star that has been known for millennia as the HEART of the Lion. It’s a glorious star
and has been shining light into our hearts for generations.

So the Lionsgate truly comes alive, shimmering with energy, at this eclipse as the Leo heart-star gleams overhead.

This placement carries a powerful message. Here’s why:

All new moons are dark. But since this one is closer (super) and has light submerged even deeper (eclipsed);
and since (what I consider to be) a very resonant Lionsgate has formed due to the Leo star Regulus,
and is combined with the energy of revolution (Uranus), it’s a VERY good time to mine the velvet shadow of the Lion,
and also to expand our realization of the changing nature of Leo at the cusp of a new age.

Because as of 2011 the star Regulus has MOVED OUT OF LEO and into the sign of VIRGO.

This is intensely significant!

First of all, fixed stars move very slowly: they move about 1 degree approximately every 72 years.

So Regulus has been stationed as the regal star of the Lion for 2,160 years. And now… it’s not anymore. BOOM.

What’s it mean? KINGS IN RAGS.

The heart of leadership moves from being on a stage and soaking in adulation
(manifesting for the past 2000 years in imbalanced ways) to being a humble servant.

Rooted in the earth. Serving the people, not the corporations or the upper echelons or the shadow government
(the darkness of this moon points to such things as the shadow government) or egoic needs.

Service is our shining heart now, service is our joy. We are humble and deeply connected with earth and the Great Mother.

BIG sea change.

And so, this very dark eclipse in a very joyful sign, carries this message: personally and collectively
we must pass through a spiritual initiation in order to navigate the change.

Something akin to this:
“With the power you gain by identifying yourself with your destiny you begin to weave your thoughts
in such a way that they do not carry you along in a dreamlike way, but you are able to eliminate one thought
and call up another, manipulating them at will. When this begins, you experience what we call ‘passing through the portal.’

Then the power of volition we are using reveals itself as a terrible monster.

This has been known for thousands of years among mystics as ‘encountering the lion.’” – Rudolf Steiner

In esoteric teachings this is called The Dweller on the Threshold. Our society is poised at this point RIGHT NOW.

And so, this year’s Lionsgate - with the dark moon eclipse that is incredibly loud and close,
hidden n creepin’ up on ya – is an initiation of this variety for those who wish to work
with it as such. Society is in the middle of this initiation.

It’s splashed all over the news and social media as we speak.

Ponder on this, Shining One, under this splendid,
dark yet lit, new moon partial solar eclipse.

It’s 4:30 am and I can’t sleep because every cell in my body is vibrating.

The partial Solar Eclipse (5:58 am EDT, August 11) has called me into its presence.

My experience from last year’s Total Solar Eclipse – August 21, 2017 – is very close.

My home was in the path of totality.

What an experience! Da

rkness appeared when my body and mind expected light.

Planets and stars – Venus and Mars, Regulus – emerged out of the light.

The world turned upside down and for a few precious minutes we were plunged into an alternate reality
where the opposites merged into one.

With the cycles of the Moon we are given a body-felt understanding of duality.

Every month, as the Full Moon approaches, the darkness is illuminated and the shadows of the night
reveal what is hidden

. During the July 27 total Full Moon Eclipse (the opening of the Lions Gate portal)
the illuminated Moon was extinguished, and we were plunged fully into darkness.

This current Solar Eclipse is providing only a partial illumination of that which is hidden.

Earth is on an underworld journey and our collective shadow is not yet fully revealed.

The Aquarian Age is being born out of the choices we are making now.

Both last August’s Solar Eclipse and this one is in the sign of Leo.

The shadow of Leo is its opposite sign, Aquarius.

The shadow side of Aquarius is authoritarianism; the shadow side of Leo is megalomania.

It takes a megalomaniac to create an authoritarian society.

It takes an illuminated collective to create a global society that cherishes unity while honoring diversity.

We Earthlings are being given a challenge.

We are creating a new world, either through action or inaction,
and what our new global society will be is up to us.

No beings on high will do this for us.

We are the ones we are waiting for.
