We have arrived at the end of a karmic cycle point and the beginning of an energetic shift with the full moon in Scorpio and lunar eclipse taking place today. There is no doom and gloom to this energy and anyone who truly analyzes the events in their life for the last year and a half or so will understand the karma they’re clearing. But hey, I guess that’s only if you care. Some will float through this feeling quite happy and others will feel deep emotional pain. Either way, it’s a good day to just take in the heaviness of this energy, whichever way it’s coming at you because it will be felt for a couple of days more.
The background energies today are actually kinda cute with Venus in Gemini sextile Jupiter in Aries which is social and flirtatious energy. Sink your teeth into that energy if you’re lucky enough to be numb to this because at 1:34 PM here in the Atlantic, the Lunar eclipse will take place. The moon will oppose not just the Sun but also Uranus and Mercury in Taurus which scrambles our thought process. Why you ask? Well Uranus is the only planet that naturally spins backwards and signifies chaos and radical change. Mercury, the planet of the mind is at the half way point of its retrograde. Both planets dealing with communication and currently inducing reflection. One at the personal level and the other affecting society as a whole. They’re meeting up with the sun, our vital force energy and all are in a tug and pull with the moon, our emotions.
This is not the moon to manifest or set intentions or charge crystals or even clear energies. These planetary bodies are doing it for you. It’s a day to just be. To reflect, accept and try to understand the things that have either entered or left your life in the last year and a half. This eclipse is part of a set of eclipses along the Taurus/Scorpio axis line which started November 2021. It will set the course for a new path today but will wrap up the themes of this cycle by October 2023.
Today we understand. Tomorrow we improve. By October, we let go. That’s what today’s energies are about. Look around the areas of your life involving intimacy, attachments and/or your personal finances and see if you can find your theme. I hope everyone is feeling alright after the eclipse yesterday. I had plenty of people reach out asking wtf was going on, lol. I did love hearing that plenty of you were having an amazing cycle too and that’s what this time is all about. Shifts in energies can come in many different forms. I hope you’re making it great to the best of your abilities. Scorpio placements had it the hardest. Hug a Scorpio Sun or Moon today! They might need it.
The Scorpio Moon will trine Neptune in Pisces today which is soulful, creative energy full of artistic expression. Soak this up Scorpio placements, the universe immediately threw you a bone!
By mid afternoon the Moon makes its way into Sagittarius which is a much more lighthearted, playful and adventurous energy. It will sextile Pluto in Aquarius which could spark intense and intellectual conversations. Unfortunately it will also square Saturn in Pisces so any fun plans today could be disrupted by obstacles so watch out for that.
Overall, it’s much nicer energies as the Sag moon is helping us sober up from the chaos of the past few days but watch out for a few things trying to slow you down. Enjoy your weekend!

It’s a quieter day today, though you may have the desire to move about with the moon in optimistic and adventurous Sagittarius. The day starts off a little clouded with the Sagittarius Moon squaring Neptune in Pisces. Optimism is great, but there’s potential here to make decisions that aren’t based on reality. Not to worry though because the Sagittarius Moon does go on to trine Jupiter in Aries. Jupiter rules Sagittarius so this is going to help you stay optimistic and energetic so you can take charge and fix or clean up anything that may have come up while things were a little bit clouded in your judgment. This energy has an element of good luck and good fortune so don’t worry too much. Every little thing’s gonna be alright.
The Sun and Uranus are beginning a tight conjunction in Taurus stirring everything up, causing some changes or disruption in our lives. It’s a time of excitement, unexpected change and a little bit of rebellion especially when it comes to appearance. Either in how we look physically or how we appear in our careers. There’s a desire to stand apart from the crowd. Don’t go too crazy though, Mercury is still retrograde where there’s potential for regret in making bold decisions after it goes direct.
Late tonight, the Moon shifts into Capricorn. This energy will sustain the drive we have and bring in an element of hard work. It’s double earth energy today with Taurus and Capricorn which is highly productive energy. The day starts off with the Capricorn Moon sextile its ruler Saturn which is in Pisces. The Capricorn Moon is driven and goal oriented. Saturn in Pisces is focused on the long term. There’s a feel of determination and endurance helping us stay focused to get the job done.
The Capricorn Moon will also trine retrograde Mercury in Taurus which is excellent energy to go back and revisit any projects or goals that need reworking or revising.
If you’ve been working on something that could use some adjustments, it’s a great time for that today!
The most difficult part of today and the strongest of the energies is that conjunction I mentioned yesterday between the Sun and Uranus in Taurus which goes Cazimi today. That means Uranus will be in the heart of the Sun and shining a spotlight on Uranus so all of the sun’s rays coming to earth are packed with chaotic and disruptive energy which is trying to shake things up. Taurus is stubborn and a bit egotistical to be honest. We should be seeing some pretty crazy stuff coming from people in leadership or positions of power. If this is you, be mindful of what you say or do and stick to the truth because Uranus has a way of humbling the most stubborn of egos. If you’re not in a position of power but you’re not getting your way, the same goes for you. Don’t go acting a fool right now. You’re literally Uranus’ puppet and letting yourself be controlled and exposed.
Stay productive and focused on work that will bring you abundance and not cause chaos today. You’ll be sure to have an ego check if end results aren’t positive.
