Eggs & Starvation

Last April, I wrote an article for Identity Dixie entitled "When It Hits the Fan." In that article, I predicted that urban and suburban areas would begin to suffer from food shortages of critical food items, such as eggs. Meanwhile, rural and exurban areas would feel little to no effect by these shortages. They would simply revert to some level of subsistence farming and trading. Although I theorized that the reason for these food shortages would be the result of racial wars in the near future (after the 2024 election), the beginnings of this food-availability division are beginning to manifest. On Sunday, we noticed that our local Walmart was selling eggs at approximately $14 for an 18 count of regular, large eggs. There were no dozen packs available. Today my wife is trading two dozen homegrown eggs for sheep made products.

The reason for the egg crisis is not simply due to inflation - bad as that is. Rather, the egg crisis is the result of a manufactured "Bird Flu" crisis, by which unaffected chickens in areas that have no exposure to the flu have been killed en masse as a "precaution." The Canadian government began this purge in the summer of 2022 and nearly wiped out all of its indigenous egg production capacity in low population density areas along the American border. Trudeau devastated the lives and livelihoods of Canadian farmers with a strike of a pen. Ordinary Canadian citizens are feeling the impact now. This policy extended to the US in October, when the US government began killing chickens and hatchlings needed to replace them. It takes about 18 - 24 weeks for a hatchling to mature to egg production. Thus, kill the chickens and their hatchlings, you have fewer and fewer egg producing chickens available within a six-month period of time. This policy has moved onto Europe, where Ireland appears to be the first Western European country to begin targeting its own, limited poultry sector.

Although eggs are tasty, there is a more important reason for eggs than omelets. Eggs are the basis upon many of the processed foods as a filler protein. They form a critical ingredient to many of the foods we eat. The alternative is generally milk (whey) or soy-based concoctions. Of course, milk will also become scarcer as the government wages its war on methane-generating livestock. That leaves soy as the primary protein alternative - assuming the food items can be made with soy derivatives. Starvation or soy quickly becomes the options in urban and suburban - i.e., non-food producing areas - rather quickly.

Take a people's natural protein sources... replace with soy... limit food availability... replace with soy... manufacture crises... kill livestock, replace with soy... You begin to see a pattern.

The people at the top hate you. Your government hates you. Every federal official hates you. Every politician - Republican or Democrat - hates you. They want you dead or fully subservient. But you can make them irrelevant.

You can make your enemies irrelevant through small, local communities within which the sheriff answers to you - the local, armed citizenry. Make sure he understands what is at stake. You can build networks whereby bartering is more common. You can find comfort in a faith-based community of likeminded exurban and rural people. This will take sacrifice, but it can be done.

Know your tribe. Extend your family and friends who share likeminded values. Build.
