Hello friends, you know the forro?

I have recently heard this style of dance is quite original!

Bonjour les copains, vous connaissez le FORRO?
J'ai appris récemment ce style de danse assez originale! Il s'agit en réalité, de la danse nationale du Brésil et contrairement à ce que l'on pense ce n'est pas la samba !
Le forró est au Brésil ce qu’est le tango à l’Argentine : absolument tous les Brésiliens le dansent. Et ceux qui ne le dansent pas encore l’apprennent. Originaire du Nordeste, le forró est avant tout un style de musique traditionnelle brésilien. Ses rythmes sensuels et voluptueux sont un mélange subtil d’accordéon, de zabumba (gros tambour plat), de triangle et de pandeiro (sorte de tambourin). Le forró est aussi une danse de couple, sensuelle et joyeuse, qui se danse très proche.
Le pas peut être posé, mais il est plus fréquemment sautillant quand on le voit dansé par des couples expérimentés au Brésil.
