  The movie, THE RED SHOES, was an intensely emotional event for me as an 8-year old.
  The dancing, the characters, the costumes, the intense relationships -- all captured my heart.
  I have seen it many times as an adult and the intensity has not diminished.
  See it if you have not already done so.
  The new RED SHOES theater ballet now touring the world does not measure up,
  mainly because the original music is not being used.
  That iconic film is now a study subject for film students.

    yes it is a very compelling movie and in view of recent Revelations concerning the meaning of red shoes it has a lot more significance.
