btw, I REMEMBER late 70s in toronto,
and, many huge companies/corporations,
where NOT allowed to hire whites
due to them being favored in the past for jobs...
and, then, there was this strange having to speak 2-3 languages
for employment, which sacked most people who were born in canada,
esp; since; speaking an ind. language, like ojibway / cree, etc., did NOT count !!!
