Golden bracelet found on the arm of a woman.

    Pompeii, c. 1st century CE,

    Weight: 610 grams (21.5 oz)

It depicts a two-headed snake with glass eyes holding a medallion of the goddess Diana.

The bracelet gave its name to a famous house in Pompeii:

"The House of the Gold Bracelet"

    (Date of excavation: 1759; 1910; 1940; 1958-1980.).

It was found on the arm of a woman who was killed
along with another adult and a child when a balcony collapsed in the house.
