The upper half is from the Roque de los Muchachos observatory of the Instituto de Astrophísica de Canarias in La Palma (Canary Islands), 29 degrees north of the equator, while the lower half was taken at the Chilean observatory of La Silla (from) Atacama Serum), 29 degrees south of the equator.
