    Rose geranium oil is really good for keeping ticks off.

    Recipe
    1 tablespoon Vodka or Witch Hazel
    40 drops Rose Geranium Essential Oil.
    ⅓ cup distilled water (78.8627455ml) 28.4 ml/oz
    I put it in a little spray bottle
    and spray my boots and outer garments
    with it daily on my way out.

    or; smaller version
    1/2 tbsp vodka or witch hazel
    20 drops rose geranium essential oil

    1/6 cup distilled water (39.4313728ml) 28.4 ml/oz
