This is a new battery electric car
called the Quant e-SportLimousine
that can go from zero to 62 mph in 2.6 seconds,
and has a top speed of 236 mph - and it runs on saltwater.
It has been approved to drive on roads throughout the EU
and is a star performer as we look to move
beyond environmentally damaging fossil fuels.
The car gets its power from a “flow cell” compromised
of two separate tanks of saltwater fuel called “bi-lon”,
each filled with a different electrolytic liquid

• one with a positive charge and one with a negative charge.
  The tanks are separated by a membrane
  and it is the meeting and interaction of the two fluids
  that creates an electric charge.
  It’s an electric car that you never have to charge!
  NASA tried to develop this technology in the 1970s,
  but found that the energy was poor.
  However, NanoFlowcell has spent 16 years work
  on the chemistry and has come up with a breakthrough
  that they say easily beats a lithium-ore battery’s storage.
