BURiED WiTHiN MY HEART

In times, long ago

In lands that lie,

so very far away

I sat, and, I watched

As you, so often sailed away

Those times we were together

And those we have been apart

I kept the magic of you

Buried safe in my heart

From this life to that life

I have searched far, and wide

Missing you, coming up empty

Without you by my side

Those times, we spent together

Make up for those we spent apart

I can always uncover the magic

It is buried deep in my heart

Those old memories of time

spent together

Creates a sunny hue

I know, you will find me

My bright light,

it will shine through

Alone in this moment

You are still close to my heart

Finding my way back to you

Will be as if we never did part

Will i ever find you through

This life of strange swirls

So, we will reconnect

with each other

Like a fine string

of matched pearls

My heart it still fondly remembers

What my mind could never erase

Memories of time spent together

Nothing else can replace

We are all in “the line” without knowing it.

We never know how many people are before us.

We can not move to the back of the line.

We can not step out of the line.

We can not avoid the line.

So while we wait in line -

Make moments count.

Make priorities.

Make the time.

Make your gifts known.

Make a nobody feel like a somebody.

Make your voice heard.

Make the small things big.

Make someone smile.

Make the change.

Make love.

Make up.

Make peace.

Make sure to tell your people they are loved.

Make sure to have no regrets.

Make sure you are ready.”

(giggle) i thought writing the first book would be hard,
then i found out i have already been published 3 times LOL
(back in 2004)
