        It was originally "owned" by the Canaanites Amr. Then the Hebrew people. The "Arabs" came later and the Palestinians are just Arabs like the other Arabs scattered all over the Middle East. Palestine was a British creation.

      So Debora -- Having no right to exist. Is that a good thing? Many of the "Palestinians" came down from Lebanon as refugees. They never had homes in Israel. So called Palestinians also never built roads or water systems or any other infrastructure. Israel has kicked its own people out of settlements that they built and given them to the "Palestinians" that built nothing. Israel supplies water and power and many other things to the "Palestinians" that seem (no matter how much money we give them) to be unable to take care of themselves.

      Its not about people who lived there, or people who live there now, no matter the restrictions imposed. This is about finding the humanity in our fellow man. Both sides are at fault. Israel has a position of leadership and they are throwing it away, this is a human rights abuse (endorsed and funded by the US).
      If a group was maligned us much as the Palestinians have been in the US, there would be outrage.
      Bottom line is, the leadership on both sides need to look to tomorrow and a peaceful solution. This won't happen though because everyone is doing religious gymnastics.

      I admit that as a Christian, I have an affinity for the Israelis and as an Human I have a disdain for Islam. But, I think Im looking at this logically. Jews have alway been in Israel. The fact that Palestinians are Arabs cannot be denied. Arabs occupy most of the middle east. So --- there should be plenty of room for Arabs that are largely refugees from Lebannon (yes some are rebels from Israel). Arabs and even "Palestinians" can and do live peacefully in Israel. So it would seem that the problem is largely the Palestinian in Muslim hatred.

      all the justification of Israel to that land in 2000+ history makes me angry as it is ridiculous since if everyone would assume this kind of thinking what would happen in Europe or America for that matter, would that be fair?What will happen if everyone starts claiming they historic lands? I understand the need of Israelis to have they place that they can call home but what was wrong with UN plan? What is the justification of chasing away natives(yes those Palestinians, Arabs and whatever you want to call them are natives) Now since 1947 both sides have people born into that land who deserve peaceful life on their land and it's a pity that noone cares and it doesn't matter

      Bombs and missles and bullets are a good reason to "chase them away" Anna. It seems that I remember "Palestinians" that lived in Lebanon when Lebanon was so chaotic. The PLO was there and they basically recruited and created Palestinians who then laid claim to Israel. Arabs live in Israel now and they did then. The "Palestinians" seem to me to be basically a creation of the Anti Semite Muslims.

      Its true that some called themselves Palestinians and they were given the West Bank and Gaza as that is where they lived already.(most of them) Arafat however brought more and more "Palestinians" down from Lebanon. They were not "Palestinians", they were Arab refugees from Lebanon.

Palestine does appear on maps over a 1000 years old, but hey, if logic doesn't apply, why should facts? Israel is a rabidly racist state with no superior claim to liquidating another ethnicity for their homelands than the Germans did in the 1940s. Jews, astonishingly, don't see the tragic irony of that. I guess they should be both pitied and punished.

        So Debora -- Having no right to exist. Is that a good thing? Many of the "Palestinians" came down from Lebanon as refugees. They never had homes in Israel. So called Palestinians also never built roads or water systems or any other infrastructure. Israel has kicked its own people out of settlements that they built and given them to the "Palestinians" that built nothing. Israel supplies water and power and many other things to the "Palestinians" that seem (no matter how much money we give them) to be unable to take care of themselves.

        Its not about people who lived there, or people who live there now, no matter the restrictions imposed. This is about finding the humanity in our fellow man. Both sides are at fault. Israel has a position of leadership and they are throwing it away, this is a human rights abuse (endorsed and funded by the US).
        If a group was maligned us much as the Palestinians have been in the US, there would be outrage.
        Bottom line is, the leadership on both sides need to look to tomorrow and a peaceful solution. This won't happen though because everyone is doing religious gymnastics.

        I admit that as a Christian, I have an affinity for the Israelis and as an Human I have a disdain for Islam. But, I think Im looking at this logically. Jews have alway been in Israel. The fact that Palestinians are Arabs cannot be denied. Arabs occupy most of the middle east. So --- there should be plenty of room for Arabs that are largely refugees from Lebannon (yes some are rebels from Israel). Arabs and even "Palestinians" can and do live peacefully in Israel. So it would seem that the problem is largely the Palestinian in Muslim hatred.

The PLO was there and they basically recruited and created Palestinians who then laid claim to Israel. Arabs live in Israel now and they did then.         Its true that some called themselves Palestinians and they were given the West Bank and Gaza as that is where they lived already.(most of them) Arafat however brought more and more "Palestinians" down from Lebanon. They were not "Palestinians", they were Arab refugees from Lebanon.
