2022 Mercury retrograde in Aquarius and Capricorn

- 14 January 6.41 am EST to 03 February 11.13pm EST

This Mercury journey is feeling like I am living in a different dimension.

How about you?

As many of you know (if you have been reading my posts over time)
before Mercury (our thoughts, perceptions, and how we process information) changes retrograde direction he enters his retrograde shadow.

That happened on Dec 29, 2021
when Mercury reached 24 degrees Capricorn
and he was travelling with Venus retrograde
(self- love and empowerment)
and Pluto (release, transformation, and re-birth)
both in Capricorn (society, rules, and regulations)
at 24/25 degrees.

As we enter the actual retrograde we are being asked to review,
re-evaluate, restructure, revise, and rethink what is of true value
and importance.

This includes our relationship to the world
(Venus retrograde in Capricorn).

Mercury entered Aquarius on Jan 02 the day of the Capricorn New Moon.

Aquarius is individual freedom but also Cosmic Consciousness.

The planets who guide this retrograde are Saturn and Uranus.

At the retrograde turning Mercury is at 10 degrees Aquarius
and Saturn is at 12 degrees Aquarius
(new foundation based on a new consciousness).

Uranus is at 10 degrees Taurus squaring them both
(motivation for change and finding new ways of doing things).

This echoes the Fourth Quarter Square of Uranus/Saturn
we experienced in 2021.

Breaking through to what is of true value and importance
and releasing what is not.

The theme of realignment and re-vision is still very powerful.

While Mercury is in Aquarius the planet Uranus
“expect the unexpected” is in charge.

Jan 25/26, 2022
Mercury retrogrades back into Capricorn and Saturn
becomes the dominant influence.

We may find more limitations and restrictions being imposed
on our personal freedom.

The good news is Mercury will meet with Pluto in Capricorn
on Jan 28, 2022 (transformation)
and Venus finishes her retrograde journey on Jan 29, 2022
at 11 degrees Capricorn (new Soul Purpose Path).

On Jan 30, 2022
the Sun in Aquarius is square
(finding new ways of doing things)
Uranus in Taurus (breakthrough).

On Jan 31, 2022 /Feb 01, 2022
we have a Super New Moon in Aquarius (new life vision)

and on Feb 03, 2022
Mercury moves direct at 24 degrees Capricorn
and re-unites with Pluto on Feb 11, 2022
(transformation and rebirth).

On Feb 14, 2022
Mercury re-enters Aquarius and is again guided by Uranus (breakthrough).

This opportunity for breaking through to a new way of thinking
is still strong as Mercury clears his retrograde on Feb 23, 2022
and squares Uranus in Taurus on Feb 24, 2022
(what is of true value in our lives).

On March 02, 2022
Mercury and Saturn will meet at 18 degrees Aquarius
giving us the opportunity to live our new vision
based on a spiritual foundation.

It is the day of the Pisces New Moon connecting with the Mystical.

On March 03, 2022
both Mars and Venus in Capricorn meet with Pluto
(transformation of our relationships)
and on March 06, 2022
they begin a new relationship cycle
at 00 degrees Aquarius (new relationship vision).

The Moon will be in Taurus that day asking us to focus
on what is of true value and importance.

The Clan Mothers who guide us on our Mercury retrograde journey
are Wisdom Keeper for Aquarius.

She is the Mother of Friendship, Planetary Unity,
and Mutual Understanding.

She teaches us to honour the truth.

For Capricorn we are guided by Talks With Relations

She is the Mother of Nature, the Keeper of relatives
and the Earth’s needs and the Guardian of the Planetary Family.

She supports us to learn the truth.

In the Northern Hemisphere Mercury in Aquarius
is guided by Otter, companionship and sharing.


When he visits Capricorn he is guided by Snow Goose,
following your hopes, wishes, dreams, and new vision.

In the Southern hemisphere while he is in Aquarius
you are guided by Salmon, determination to create the new,
and for Capricorn, he is guided by Flicker Woodpecker,
who guides us through transitions in our life
and connects us with the heartbeat of Mother Earth.

I am sure I missed some events.

We do have a Cancer/Capricorn Full Moon
on Jan 17, 2022
(mastery through change).

Uranus moves direct on Jan 18, 2022
and the Sun enters Aquarius on Jan 19/20, 2022.
