    December 20, 2022 - Jupiter Reenters Aries

Jupiter’s transit of a sign takes one year.

In 2022, Jupiter’s journey was fragmented, transiting from Pisces to Aries,
back to Pisces, and now back to Aries.

This extended passage between watery Pisces and fiery Aries created a stark contrast
in expression for the planet of expansion.

Jupiter in Pisces expands the energy of the Mystical Dreamer

    – one who swims through the watery world of imagination.

This energy is spiritual, artistic, and magical. Jupiter in Aries expands the energy
of The Warrior – active, impulsive, and initiatory.

Pisces is the last sign of the zodiac and the melting pot for all the
    previous signs.

Aries is the first sign and represents the birth of a new phase.

In the language of Shamanic Egyptian Astrology Jupiter is aligned with Horus,
    son of Isis and Osiris.

Osiris is killed by his brother Set, initiating an epic struggle between Horus and Set.

    This battle is eventually won
by The Young King and the new Aeon begins.

Pisces is allied with Sothis, the blue star Sirius, sacred to ancient Egyptian culture.

Aries is allied with Khepera, the rising Sun.

Every day is a new beginning, with opportunities for movement in a new direction.

As different as these two signs are, Jupiter is closely associated with both of them.

In ancient astrology, rulership of Pisces was assigned to Jupiter.

Jupiter in Pisces is very comfortable in the mystical world of other dimensional realities.

Jupiter in Aries brings forth a very different expression

    – that of the confident,
    determined, and inspired Earth Warrior.

With the exit of Jupiter from Pisces the time for dreaming has come to an end.

This Young King is ready to act.

Jupiter/Horus will remain in the emanation of Aries/Kephera
    from December 20, 2022
    until May 16, 2023.

    December 21: Sun enters Capricorn
Need a structure envisioned, implemented, or maintained? Call a Capricorn.

These natives are naturals at inventing effective constructs of all types.

    The earth sign Capricorn, 10th in the Zodiac, describes the rules of society;
the process by which a collective organizes itself into a cohesive structure.

Capricorn rules government, the legislature, courts, and the police.

The shadow side of Capricorn is inflexibility. This sign, ruled by Saturn, is associated with the concept of the patriarchy
    – a system of societal organization that has been in place for centuries. Just as a Capricorn may adhere to the adage,
“a place for everything and everything in its place”, the patriarchy wants every person in their place.

When a society refuses to reinvent itself to accommodate change, we have an authoritarian culture.

When someone is overly resistant to change, we have an inflexible person.

In the language of Shamanic Egyptian Astrology, Capricorn is allied with Khnum.

Khnum created the humans and animals of Earth out of clay, spinning them into form on his potter’s wheel.

    Khnum’s creations are not static.

Whenever we go through a transformational process,
Khnum invites us back onto his wheel so that a new energetic body can be created
that better supports our internal changes.

Khnum is a flexible elder, willing to create new containers appropriate for changes in substance.

As we move through the season of Capricorn, pay attention to those places
where you need to adjust form to better support change.

Step onto Khnum’s wheel and allow yourself to be reinvented.

The Sun will remain in the emanation of Capricorn/Khnum from December 21, 2022 to January 20, 2023.
