tonight is Mother Night
- the night before the winter solstice, the longest night of the year.

out of the WOMB of the GREAT MOTHER
- the Sun/son is born/reborn!

Mother Night is a remembrance of the MATRIARCHAL MYSTERIES:

Isis gave birth to Horus

Neith (Net) gave birth to Ra

the Virgin Mary gave birth to Jesus

Leta gave birth to Apollo

Ishtar gave birth to Tammuz

Demeter gave birth to Dionysus

in many of these stories the Mother who gave birth
was a virgin or in some way gave birth by parthenogenesis

- reproduction from an ovum without fertilization.

this is symbolic of having both
the masculine and feminine principle within

- being whole and complete unto herself
and being able to create from this place of wholeness within.

all of these stories speak to a Mother Matrix
that was already existent before the son of Light is born

the son of Light dies and then is reborn

but what remains the same

- what is infinite

- is the Mother

like Neith

- the ancient egyptian Mother Goddess
who was there in the waters of nun

before anything came into existence

- of whom is said to have been

"born the first, in the time when as yet there had been no birth"

sons are born- and Great mothers give birth to them

the generating principle is FEMININE

we are all feminine in the womb until a Y chromosome is formed

we all start out female- then we differentiate

winter solstice is not just a celebration
of the birth of the Sun but of the eternal

existence of the Great Mother
- the Generatrix, the Matrix- Matter, Mother
give thanks to the Mother
