June 2, 2022: Mercury and Saturn Stationary.

Mercury is stationary, turning direct June 3, 2022
in a square to stationary Saturn.

Saturn turns retrograde on June 4, 2022.

In traditional astrology, Mercury is the planet of communication.

Saturn is the principle of restriction.

Our communication processes are being constricted
– a frustrating experience for many of us.

In the language of Shamanic Egyptian Astrology,
Mercury is allied with Thoth, creator of language,
writing and time.

Saturn is aligned with Sobek, the Old King, protector of the status quo.

Saturn/Sobek constrains us until a new mode of expression emerges.

If we examine this situation closely,
we may find that we are experiencing a new way of being,
one that is difficult to explain to others.

The old way of communicating is no longer adequate,
and we can’t quite find the words to capture what we now know to be true.

This station of Saturn initiates the return of the Old King to a fourth
and final square with Uranus, the Great Awakener – Wadjet in Egyptian myth.

After a three-month period of dormancy, the active struggle
between the established order and the emergence of new life will resume.

The New Energy is building.

We do not yet know if this will be a healthy birth.
