Last week I warned on this site and various email newsblasts that it was going to get ugly and we must get ready to fight for Trump. It's worse than that.

I was in DC for the Deploraball and the inauguration and I can tell you, it was the best of times and it was the worst of times. The best of America and the worst.

If anyone thought the left would accept defeat and respect the democratic process, they have not been paying attention for the past 40 years. The left's army of goons is fueled by incendiary rhetoric by the media, academia, Hollywood airheads was on full display this past weekend at the sore losers protests in leftwing cities across the country.

They set the hearts of millions of teenage boys fluttering during the 1960s and 70s with their sultry dance routines.
But the original members of Pan’s People have hit out at X-rated pop stars such as Miley Cyrus and Rihanna, claiming they are poor role models for today’s youth.
The Top of the Pops dance troupe became a regular fixture on the BBC’s iconic music programme between 1968 and 1976, when they appeared on stage to dance to backing tracks when bands weren’t able to perform live on stage.

Looking good: Top of the Pops dance troupe Pan's People, (left to right) Babs Powell, Sue Menhenick, Dee Dee Wilde and Ruth Pearson, have reunited for fashion campaign

    article-2609414-1D3C824400000578-823_634x475.

Under the guidance of late choreographer Felicity 'Flick' Colby, the original TOTP fivesome (L-R) Ruth Pearson, Dee Dee Wilde, Cherry Gillespie, Babs Lord, and Sue Menhenick (who, with Cherry, replaced Louise Clarke and Andi Rutherford) were transformed from jobbing dancers into Thursday-night superstars

Louise Clarke died in 2012 at the age of 63 after suffering from heart failure, while Andi Rutherford left Britain to live in Australia after the group disbanded, and is no longer in contact with the group.
The women attracted criticism from campaigners such as Mary Whitehouse because of their daring outfits and occasionally provocative moves, but the group claim that they never set out to shock the audience.
Despite their success on the show after replacing wholesome dance outfit the Go Jos, the group have now admitted that they were never financially successful during their time on television.

Ruth, Babs and Dee Dee Wilde, along with another of the group’s former dancers, Sue Menhenick, have now condemned the over-sexualised antics of modern female pop stars, saying their own ‘subtle’ dance routines were far sexier.
Miss Wilde, 66, who now works as a dance instructor in the West Country, told the MailOnline: ‘Children loved us and young girls wanted to emulate us. As role models we were nigh-on perfect.

'We were consummate professionals, who never put a foot wrong. Maybe we were a bit boring.
'I think modern girls of today are wonderful, but Miley Cyrus worries me, I think she pushes it too far.
'She wants the attention, but goes way over the top.
'Her stuff is just too inappropriate some times. People like that have to understand they have a responsibility, they have to set an example to young girls.

‘Some of Rihanna’s videos are just over the top. Why do you have to just wear your underwear?
'Pop today is overtly sexualised and sometimes I think subtlety is so much more sexy.
'We were very much the girls next door who struck lucky.’
She was joined in her criticism by Miss Pearson, now 66 and retired. She said: ‘I think Rihanna is talented, but she doesn’t really do anything for me.
'My attitude is that youth should always push the boundaries, but I think Miley Cyrus and Rihanna push it a bit too far.

'We were lucky that we managed to push things but also get the balance right. We were definitely the first group to do what we did.
‘The only thing we could possibly regret was that we didn’t make any money. We were on Equity minimum – Equity was a Union. I think we were paid per show.
'As much as we have to thank the BBC for in many, many ways, I always felt that we never got the financial recognition we deserved.’
Miss Powell, said: ‘Yes, there were a few people who thought we pushed it too far. But we never set out to shock or upset.’
Sue Menhenick, 56, who joined Pan’s People in 1974 when she was just 17, and who continued to perform with the group until they disbanded two years later, added: ‘I think pop videos have become a lot more sexy. During the time I was with Pan’s People, things were not quite as overt as they can be these days.

‘I actually talked to my daughter about it and she said she finds it quite embarrassing – too strong and in-your-face. It’s too graphic. But it is there and people will always use that. It’s a shame, because there is a lot to be said for subtlety.
‘I would have been concerned about letting my children see modern pop videos if they were younger. There are other ways of showing your talent.’
The group angered Whitehouse, who complained after the women wore black sequined dresses that had been slashed to the thigh during one episode of Top of the Pops.
The campaigner claimed it was unacceptable to allow such revealing dresses on television at 6pm.
Pan’s People last appeared on the programme in April 1976, dancing to Silver Star by The Four Seasons.

But what have they been doing since then?
Ruth Pearson, 66, was the longest-serving member of the group, performing between 1966 until 1976, when they finally disbanded.

'I'm the only one that didn't get married: Ruth wears Savoir Embellished Jersey Jumpsuit £35.00

She initially re-trained as a professional chef at a restaurant in Richmond, before working with Hammersmith and Fulham Council until she retired six years ago.
‘I’m the only one that didn’t get married,' she says.
'Everyone else got married and had children. I’m an only child, so Pan’s People really are my family.
'I suppose I didn’t meet or fall in love with marriage material.
'I don’t date anymore, I’ve been on my own too long.
At the end I thought I just wanted to get out of showbusiness altogether. The transition was quite difficult.
'In a way your whole identity changes. You think: “Who am I? What am I going to do?” It’s scary.'
Miss Pearson explains how she worked for Hammersmith and Fulham Council in their Housing department, where she stayed until she retired.
'I didn’t get recognised really when I was there, I managed to keep it very quiet,' she says. I always find that while some people really like it, but others have a kind of defence mechanism that comes up. “Who the hell does she think she is?” I’m very proud of Pan’s People, but I want people to be able to see the real me first, and not because I was once famous.'

Babs Powell, 68, left the group in 1974, to become a stay-at-home mother shortly after her marriage to actor Robert Powell.

'I've have trekked across the Sahara Desert and climbed Kilimanjaro': Babs Powell wears Confident Curves Biker Dress £45.00 and Shoe Box Palma Court Shoes £18.00

At the age of 55 she ran the London Marathon, before embarking on a series of adventures which saw her sail around the world on a ten-month voyage, trek across the Sahara desert, and hike to the North and South Poles, travel to the Great Wall of China, Iceland and Nepal, as well as a jungle expedition.
Babs now works primarily as a fundraiser for charity.
She said: ‘I don’t dance anymore. I stopped shortly after I married my husband, 38 years ago.
'Pan’s People was a very precious period of my life, but when I met Robert I was 29 and getting itchy feet. I wanted to start a family.
'I retired from the band and closed the door on Pan’s People in 1974.
'I’ve seen a lot of the world and I feel very privileged. The first time I ran the London Marathon was in 1996.
'Then I signed up for a round-the-world yacht race, which took ten months. I have trekked across the Sahara Desert, climbed Kilimanjaro, camped in the jungle and walked to the North and South Poles and travelled to the great Wall of China.
'I wouldn’t have done these things when my children were young. I wanted to do all the school runs. I think your life is constantly changing and evolving.
'The pressures are much greater today for women to be successful professionally, and in raising a family.
'Robert and I made a conscious decision that I would be a stay-at-home mum, in order to be able to support him in his work.
'It had been a very good innings with Pan’s People. I don’t dwell on the past or think about it, I very much live for today.
'On Sunday nights I will still listen to the charts, just to see what’s occurring.’

Dee Dee Wilde, 66, was another founding member of Pan’s People, helping set up the group in 1966 when she was just 19.
She finally left in 1975 and has now set up her own dance school in the village of Trowbridge in the West Country where she lives with her second husband Henry Marsh.

'I'm the same size now as I was in Pan's People!': Dee Dee Wilde wears Berkertex Mesh Knot Maxi Dress £65.00 and Cheryl multi chain bracelet £10.00

The pair wed two years ago when she was 64, but they initially met on an episode of Top of the Pops in the 1970s, before finally getting together in 2001.
She said: ‘I still have some of my original costumes, which I can still fit into. I’ve put on a little bit of weight, but I can still squeeze into them.
    'When I was in Pan’s People when I was a size eight; 8st 4lb and now I’m 8st 7lbs.
'The great thing about Pan’s was that we weren’t all skinny types. We were all different shapes and sizes.Babs was the number one pip up. I was Miss Personality Plus.
'I met Henry on Top of the Pops in 1975. He was in a band called Sailor. We went ahead and had marriages and children and then met again at a showbiz party years later in 2000.
'I went through a tough divorce. I adored my first husband, but we were separate spirits.
'I was very much the spirit who wanted to get out and do things, he wanted to stay at home.
In 2002 I moved out and went to live with Henry in the West Country.
'I’d had 22 years of marriage and then it all went wrong. It takes a long time to repair that.
'I’ve now started a dance class for like-minded ladies in the West Country. It is for women of a certain age who want to keep going.
'I only drink socially now and since Christmas I haven’t drunk anything.
'There have been no faddish diets, but on New Year’s Eve I decided to give up sugar completely. My exercise is to keep dancing and I do that three to four times a week. I just can’t imagine giving it up.’

Sue Menhenick, 56, joined Pan’s People in 1974 when she was just 17, staying with the group for two years before they disbanded in 1976.

She continued to work as a professional dancer, joining subsequent Top of the Pops dance groups Ruby Flipper and Legs and Co.
She later became a ballet dancer, before starting a family and becoming as a full time mother in the late 1980s.
She said: ‘I really learnt my trade in Pan’s People. I was only 17 when I joined the group, which was very young, and I’d never done anything like that before.
'I’d trained as a classical ballet dancer, but the girls helped me through the transition as they had already been working together for years.
'It was actually like having five older sisters. I’d watched Pan’s People on Top of the Pops, but never imagined I’d end up working in this iconic dance group.
'But things move on and after leaving Pan’s People, I worked as a choreographer and then went back to my roots doing Ballet Rambert.
'Then in the late 1980s I decided that I wanted to start a family, which didn’t happen for me quite as quickly as I thought it would have done.
'But I’ve been able to become a full-time mother to my children.’

SNL Writer Suspended For Verbally Assaulting Innocent 10-Year-Old Barron Trump

BREAKING NEWS BY AMY MORENO JANUARY 23, 2017
Katie Rich, the heartless liberal SNL writer who attacks 10-year-old kids was suspended for verbally assaulting Barron Trump on Twitter.
    She tweeted this out:
    katie-rich.
She then followed up with a pointless apology, where she pretends to be STUNNED
    by her own “terrible behavior.”

Same stuff we see from every unhinged, emotionally depraved liberal that throws a temper tantrum.

I sincerely apologize for the insensitive tweet.
I deeply regret my actions & offensive words. It was inexcusable & I'm so sorry.
    3:08 PM - 23 Jan 2017

    Apology is not accepted.

She knew exactly what she was doing.
These passive aggressive liberal outbursts need to stop.

This woman must be fired from her job.

    Period.

    From Failing NY Times:
Katie Rich, a writer for “Saturday Night Live,” has been suspended from her position
at that show following a widely criticized post she made Friday on her personal Twitter account
in which she mocked Barron Trump, the 10-year-old son of President Donald J. Trump.

She was suspended immediately after her tweet, and her suspension is indefinite,
according to someone familiar with the plans at “S.N.L.,”
who was not authorized by NBC to comment on personnel matters.

That tweet on Friday, during Mr. Trump’s inauguration ceremony, drew widespread condemnation,
and Ms. Rich subsequently deleted the post and deactivated her Twitter account.

Her name did not appear in the closing credits of “Saturday Night Live” in its broadcast on Saturday.

On Monday afternoon, Ms. Rich reactivated her account and posted a message that said:
“I sincerely apologize for the insensitive tweet. I deeply regret my actions & offensive words.
It was inexcusable & I’m so sorry.”

The suspension of Ms. Rich, who was hired to join “S.N.L.” at the end of 2013,
comes at a delicate time for the program, when it has felt emboldened to lampoon Mr. Trump
but has faced his swift retaliation on Twitter.

Following the show’s broadcast of Jan. 14, in which the actor Alec Baldwin played Mr. Trump
in a parody of his news conference from earlier that week, Mr. Trump wrote on Twitter the following day:
“NBC News is bad but Saturday Night Live is the worst of NBC.
Not funny, cast is terrible, always a complete hit job. Really bad television!”

Mr. Trump made no public comments about Saturday’s show, in which Mr. Baldwin did not appear.

NBC said on Monday that Mr. Baldwin will host “Saturday Night Live” on Feb. 11 and appear throughout that program.
