I don’t sell much on eBay. I love finding treasures
    but I hate to list.

I am 72 and sell to supplement my Social Security.
    I sell jewelry.
Vintage costume, modern fashion and vintage and contemporary fine jewelry.
(Whatever I can find) I also sell some watches.
Each month, I sell a number of lots of items in the same category at Auction.
I start all listings at $9.99 and schedule them to end on the same day
(Wednesday or Thursday night) 2 minutes apart.

This month it was watches, last month was clip on earrings.
    I do not promote anything.
More than 50% of my sales are International.
In addition to eBay, I sell a bit on Etsy, to a couple local re-sellers and scrap about $10,000 in gold a year.
I source from yard sales, estate tag sales and auctions, online auctions and occasionally local referrals and thrift shops.
I spend an average of $2000 per month.
I don’t know if this will help anyone but this is what works for me.

That’s fantastic!! You’re kicking my butt, for sure!!!! Kudos to you!!
PSA to those with slightly different circumstances than yours… for those on Social Security who are NOT yet 72 (including those receiving traditional SS, SSI and SSDI) there is typically an employment income cap so make sure you know what that is, if this applies to you. If you exceed the total allowable, your SS benefits will decrease, once you report it. I was a consultant for 10 years regarding government benefits for disabled and aging. It’s wise to be transparent with reporting income (and of course expenses related to reselling.) The consequences are far too great for anyone to risk.
